Thanks for a great upload! And all of the participating Air Forces! I suddenly realize that there a rarely, if any Eastern block mass exercises on youtube. Kinda telling isn't it? They can't even get along well enough or train their pilots?

One of those F-16s (at 5:03 ) looked like it had a radar array running almost from its canopy to its stabilizer. AESA? Wild Weasel?

Just looks like that, it's the angle from the camera lens...looks like the rocket is a part of the nose...

Can anyone tell me how well the F-5E's/F's perform at exercises like these during air to air engagements against other fighters?

+xTomcatsForeverVF84x the first few sorties of F-5 at 2:09 are actually F-5S/T, from the Republic of Singapore Air Force. They were upgraded/modified with new radars, all digital cockpit, helmet cueing display and is capable of firing AMRAAMs. Singapore is known to operate the most advanced jets, such as F-15SG with AESA, F-16D+, etc. If they are still keeping the F-5S/T, it must be because there's still a role for it. :) The later sorties are the F-5E/F from Thai Air Force.

+Melvin Chen The F-5 is a highly maneuverable day fighter. It doesn't have the awesome sensor capability of the F-15SG, but with the AMRAAM, it can also engage BVR, so it does indeed have a role in air defense.

Thai F-5 are known as F-5T-Tigris as they have been constantly upgraded by Israel and they are going through 3rd upgrade to be F-5T- Super Tigris which would make them the most advance F-5 in the world thaimilitaryandasianregion.wordpress.com/2016/06/05/f-5e-tiger-ii-f-5t-tigris-of-the-royal-thai-air-force/

That gray jet is weird looking! What was it a Embraer? xwinds from the left is noticeable. F-15's from Kadena. This Cope Tiger is like a Red Flag.

dude, Cope Tiger is like Red flag in south east asia (mostly members of the so called 'TigerStates' ! + U.S. and Aussie+ forces)..........ZZ- Kadena's best - involved. ;)

Brazil and USA have something similar and the jets from USA refuel here in TJSJ. there is a video in YT, check it out. The F-16 ANG Unit from the District of Colombia are the ones with the videos.

+joe carr its a Gulfstream G550 CAEW - basically a very advanced AWACS plane. Its from the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF). Only Israel and Singapore uses this modified business jet for AWACS.

It is crazy madness for asmall country like Singapore to own a F-15SG super bull plane. Why Singapore F5E pick up speed is more fastr than the thailand's one ? They re-make the F-5 air frame and pu new engines. By the way all countries fighter jets looks in good new condition.
