Hey, love the video! Your Copperband that won't eat. Try Fresh living little neck clams. Throw them in the freezer. Next day put one in with the Copperband, the clam will open up when it thaws in the tank. I know u said you tried on a half shell, this works better. Always worked for me.

Great update. Sometimes my anemones lose some of the long tentacles when they twist but not that often. I would watch the tank carefully or maybe at night to see if something is picking. I grew brine shrimp once nut used reef nutrition phytoplankton feast. Worked pretty good. Maybe try a smaller pellet or granules to feed the copperband. Maybe soak the pellets until they are really soft before feeding. Can't remember if you tried Masstick at all. Hope he eats. Good luck.

If you get desperate feed the copperband live black worms, then ween him on to frozen blood worms, while you train on traditional frozen. All my copperbands always go crazy for live black worms, if you can find an lfs nearby that carry them.

Good video. I just picked up a copperband butterfly today. I hope that I will have more success than I have in the past with copperbands. My last two didn't live more than a week and a half. I'm going to try getting some clam because he is ignoring mysis shrimp. I hope yours do well.

If you can find them, try live blackworms. Worked great for my Copperband. Also try Easy Reef Masstick. If it picks at Mastick, smash frozen, pellets and flake into the masstick. Mine eats everything now. Including Nori. lol

Nori?! Wow! That's awesome. I did try masstick. I have not seen it eat it while I'm watching but when I leave and come back it looks picked at. I'll definitely keep a closer eye out. Thanks!

Updates? I had one go through 30 days of copper and lasted 3 days in my display. I have tons of pods btw.

The one in my smaller tank never ate prepared foods and perished. The one in my main display is still going strong 🙏

Unfortunately, the one in the Anemone tank only lived for about 3 months. The one in my Mega Matrix is doing awesome. Still only eating frozen but that is better than nothing.

Definitely tried those with no luck. But as of late, it has at least followed the frozen food and pecked as some of it but spitting it out. So that is progress.
