Most warrants for homes are cleared for the ENTIRE home.

Guessing most cops don't knock if they have a search warrant, they just knock the door down

Yeaaa, they’re pretty much gonna kick in the door EVERY TIME they have a warrant. They’ll just hand you the warrant AFTER they use their universal key to open your door.

As it wasn’t mentioned - is it legal (and a good idea) for you to remain in your home and record their actions (on a phone, or similar), or to request they are recorded or something like that?

Videos like this make people watch it for 30 seconds, think they understand their rights, then completely use the info gained incorrectly. Not pissing in his cereal, just saying although he is correct, it is always good to research your rights and the laws before assuming that you know them.

Also something that might be a good thing to know. A search warrant for a phone, computer, tablet etc - is *not* automatically one for _its data/content._ This needs to be specified.
