@Aluzky Wrong ignoramus, the exercise of a right cannot be suspicious..... NO OBLIGATION to identify unless lawfully arrested, Brown v Texas, 4th and 5th and state law. AND IF LAWFULLY ARRESTED, the RIGHT to REMAIN SILENT INVOKES..... NO OBLIGATION to answer questions per: Watts v. Indiana, 338 U.S. 49 (1949), was a United States Supreme Court case in which Justice Robert Jackson famously opined, "To bring in a lawyer means a real peril to solution of the crime because, under our adversary system, he deems that his sole duty is to protect his client-guilty or innocent-and that, in such a capacity, he owes no duty whatever to help society solve its crime problem. Under this conception of criminal procedure, any lawyer worth his salt will tell the suspect in no uncertain terms to make no statement to police under any circumstances." In this case, a defendant was subjected to rigorous interrogation methods, including being forced to sleep on the floor, resulting in a confession to having committed murder. The Supreme Court ruled that the confession was involuntary and reversed his conviction. Terry v Ohio 392 U.S. 1 "Of course, the person stopped is not obliged to answer, answers may not be compelled and refusal to answer furnishes no basis for an arrest, although it may alert the officer to the need for continued observation." “The Supreme Court has repeatedly held that refusal to answer law enforcement questions cannot form the basis of reasonable suspicion. See Florida v. Bostick, 501 U.S. 429, 437, 111 S. Ct. 2382, 115 L.Ed.2d 389 (1991) ("We have consistently held that a refusal to cooperate, without more, does not furnish the minimal level of objective justification needed for a detention or seizure.") - U.S. v. Santos 403 F.3d 1120 (2005).

Thank you so much! Not to mention the abuse and brutality and corruption. And finally for offenses and major errors most likely due to the short training period for cadets with low IQs cases are reviewed by their own dept and dismissed. And qualified immunity needs to be completely abolished! The entire judicial system is a complete disgrace and an abomination! It needs immense improvement! An overhaul! But politically this country is changing over from a democracy to a tyrannical dictatorship that will employ a militaristic police force anyway so it's par for the course. The thing is with that you chose your profession doesn't mean you get to f****** change everything to fit your s*** we're not supposed to worry about officer safety you want officer safety don't pull people over if you don't want to be in that situation go find another job you used to mean to be a cop you had balls of steel because you knew that if you got into a shooting situation you couldn't fire unless you were fired upon first a guy could hold a gun at your face and you were not allowed to shoot him unless he shot first because until he pulls that trigger he has not committed that crime it's not a crime to aim a weapon at a person it is immoral and it's stupid but it doesn't make it a crime when you're legally able to carry a weapon in this country that moment it becomes a crime is when he actually acts on and pulls that trigger so that's why cops were not allowed to shoot unless shot upon now it's changed because these little pussies don't know what it means to have honor and integrity you think our military service people f****** sit there and complain about s*** like that no they do their job because that's what they do it's pathetic that even when they don't have a proper description because the only thing I heard in the video was a dark figure never said a color and in the video I never heard anything about a f****** vehicle the one person said they saw her the figure running past the store but didn't know which way they went they were just trying to find somebody that they could pin it on cuz I guarantee you they still don't have a suspect so they stop at every dark color sedan no just that one

I try to be objective bc I think it is important we don't just jump onto anything just bc. So far I'm halfway into the video. I think it's a 50/50. I do think they had RAS in the beginning to ID him he was quickly in and out of the travel lodge, the u-turn(legal or not) and sitting parked in the gas station is just suspicious in this instance. 2nd part I have had experience with and where most encounters go awry once they have had verified the information and they know it's not him. The encounter should end then but they get butt hurt and won't stop the harrassment. I agree with both sides till the end and then the cops lose however about halfway the guy should have identified and I'm a big don't ID guy.

It seems to be how most of these videos go.. usually with the cops saying “once you give me your info you’ll be on your way, I don’t see why you’re making it a big deal.” So what exactly is my ID going to tell you? Because it appears to me that there’s a very real risk that information could be attached to a crime or incident I have absolutely nothing to do with. Not only that, the information they request is important and sensitive: my full name, date of birth, address, phone number, social security number. I’d love to know the data safeguarding policies of police departments and their officers who put this sensitive info in their little notebooks. Weird how there’s tons of laws and huge fines regarding safeguarding this exact data with healthcare, financial institutions, the education system, etc yet it’s fine that someone with a few months of job training and a badge is fine to handle PII?

It is a very unfortunate ordeal that there are human beings out here that predatorize other people based on the pigmentation of their skin color which isn't only trivial but vile. It takes a very sociopathic and psychopathic individual to have this train of thought towards other human kind. It is my belief that it is no mistake that there are more of these happenings in this line of work than any other. Since the 1970's, policing has become very adversarial and militaristic; most noted by an us against them mentality. The exception seems to be extreme cowardice when confronting school shooters as was demonstrated at Columbine and Uvalde.

I lost faith in law enforcement when I saw police officer throwing high-explosive grenades randomly at a crowd of protesters (including children and women) in 2018 in France, some people lost a limb as a result. There was no investigation, not in France, nor before international courts either : the French regime broke the Geneva convention in absolute indifference and total impunity, then 2 years later law enforcement all over the globe were enforcing global tyranny with the same impunity... For some reason this stuff doesn't seam to happen in US states where people do protest with long guns and bullet-proof vests... "Strong with the weak, weak with the strong"

Nothing about these corrupt tyrant pigs is going to change until an independent outside entity is set up to investigate the thousands of complaints against these criminals. Qualified immunity needs to be eliminated as is was made up by the courts. It is not law and it's unconstitutional. I hope Aaron wins mega amounts of money from his lawsuit. I hope he brings the hotel in on the lawsuit. They had no lawful reason to give out his ID.

Qualified immunity doesn't exist at common lore, problem is none of you so can citizens know what a citizen means, nor do you comprehend the meaning of civil rights. A civil right is not rights at all, they're man made privileges disguised as rights, and you people are slaves to the corporation's you actually say you are members. When a man defines himself, he diminishes his standing as a man into the legal fiction of a defendant. When YOU become a (wo)man , then the (wo)man has rights : inalienable rights granted by God, that no man has the power to give or take from man .
