Had a time VERY similar to a super troopers scene. I was helping a buddy one weekend, he was a contractor and needed some help this particular day. We were pulled over by an illinois state trooper. This knucklehead gave the cop his brother’s info because apparently he had a warrant, cop ran it and came back and called him out immediately saying “now give me YOUR information, your brother isn’t here.” They went back to the cruiser, meanwhile i had to take the BIGGEST piss of my life, I reluctantly got out and went back to ask if I could please step i to the back of the cube van to piss, to my surprise he said go ahead. I I proceeded to rollup and then down the door, grabbed a McDonalds cup and filled it to the brim. I cautiously climbed back out as to not spill it…..cop hit the siren the second i turned around and i ended up taking a golden shower provided by myself. I look over and they’re dying laughing in the cruiser, turns out this particular trooper carried a PUPPET to mess with DUI suspects. None of us went to jail that day, but one of us smelled like we had!😂

When I was 16, I got a job at the local Jack in the Box. First night shift some drunk cowboys came to the drive thru and got loud and aggressive talking to the 'Jack' mike. Without a single word between them the staff sprung into full savage mode: spitting lugies into the burgers, rubbing the buns on their crotches, dropping fries on the floor, etc etc. It was shocking, at the time I had zero idea ff workers actually did these things. After a couple more nights I too knew the drill. After getting my eyes opened I've never ever given fast food workers any lip whatsoever when getting served. If you get into it with fast food servers, you best leave without your order. The secret sauce is nasty. This is totally real, disbelieve at your on expense.
@GreenClawForestry

This is true. The worst things I've ever seen is when a tub of sauce got spilled and instead of throwing it out they scrapped it off the floor to save $10, not even mad at anyone just cheap.

I was an Air Force cop when this movie came out. We totally did some of these things like the cat game and the repeater...obviously only on stops where we were just gonna tell them to slow down cause no one really wants to write tickets on base. As far as the bullet proof cup scene goes...remember that the captain showed up and said that the rookie was the one that was supposed to be naked and that they used to use blanks! " you're a sick mother fucker Mac" "Thanks Chief! "🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'm a 21 year LE retired officer, I first watched this movie in the theaters, and I almost fell out of my chair laughing so hard, I can picture officers of my department doing stuff like this, and I think every officer tried the cat game after this movie at least once, and as far as restaurants we would always look to see who the cook was, if anyone recognized them, we would just walk out, and did not go back, until we heard that person no longer worked there. Classic movie😂😂😂😂😂

Around the time this movie came out, I was a young prosecutor (I’m an old one now), and the state troopers at my post pulled a prank during a DUI arrest where they had one of those fart sound makers in the BAC room and they were setting it off remotely while the suspect was trying to blow in the machine. The troopers were all busting up laughing… except turns out the dude had so many priors it ended up being a felony DUI and the video of the BAC would potentially have been seen by a jury had the matter gone to trial. I went and had a chat with the troopers supervisor… SMH

There’s a certain risk you assume when you eat any kind of food prepared by other people, especially in an industrial type of setting like any type of fast food. You don’t think about it, you don’t check for it, and if you know someone who works at a restaurant you really like and they start to tell you a story, you cut that shit off and you don’t hear it.

I've worked kitchen jobs and about half of the people in the back were felons and don't like the police. Most drive thrus can't see the car until you pay or you're grabbing your food. So unlike what the guys were saying a drive thru is probably a safer bet. Just have to hope they don't screw up the order.

@@shadowprince4482 to be honest with you I have learned the lesson of do not mess with the people that handle your food way before I had the experience of learning that the hard way, cause I understand they make mistakes and it's never perfect, if there is something wrong with my order then I just man up and don't say anything I eat what is given to me and if I don't like something I can always take it off as my mother would put it. The only time I actually will say something is if I'm with someone who is actually allergic to a specific food and then I will very politely say excuse me, Im Sorry to be bother but we ordered this without this because they're allergic to it, and 100% of the time they are very kind and respectful right back and apologize and I tell them it's fine we make mistakes.

My brother was high on drugs, and went and picked up his son on a. Day he wasn’t supposed to see his son. The cop asked for his license and registration. He came back a few minutes and asked for it again. My brother then fumbled through the glove box, and couldn’t find it because he was so out of it that he forgot giving it to the officer. The only reason he didn’t get convicted of a DUI was because they lost his blood test paperwork.

I've worked a few fast food jobs in my younger years and during the day most of the time it's so busy we don't have time to be doing petty $h¡t like mess with someone's food. However I was the overnight manager of a BK for 2 years and there would have been plenty of time to mess with people's food but I would never let it happen because I always think about the fact that if I do something like that then I know that someone else has and will do something like that to me, and I want to live life without that stress and worry. Also on my shift if any cops came through I'd always give it to them for free because my employer allowed it and I wanted to establish a good status with the cop so that if I should ever get pulled over by one of them they might be more inclined to let me go with just a warning.

Paused this midway as a person that has worked in fast food..... employees can be disgusting to ANYONE. Cop, teacher, firefighter. They don't care. The thing is though it is best not to know trust me. The fast food place I worked was a Mcdonald's and after working there and seeing first-hand what my coworkers got up to I am completely off of their food based on my own memories and experiences alone. Which is why I refuse to ever work in a fast-food restaurant ever again. What can I say I love my Burgerking/TacoBell/Wendy's/Jack in the box. I don't want to know what goes on behind the counters okay? That said we have had cops order food where I used to work and while some a-holes might do disgusting stuff that didn't happen where I worked there. In fact, I tried to ensure the cop's food was freshly made, and if they asked for extra items they good it in spades. One cop wanted extra tomato slices he got five. Was it favoritism? Ya bet your a$$ but I didn't care...LOL.

I became a cop in Florida in 1986 and had an FTO, Antonio Moreno (Loco Moreno they called him) that told me stories of things he got in trouble for as a young cop in the 70s. He was trying to break the arrest record for the year and had 4 guys in the back seat of his Chrysler Newport and one in front seat. He saw a guy in the list for outstanding warrants crossing the street, stopped cuffed him and put him in trunk for reasons of space. Arriving at the station he took the front seat guy and four in back seat in to process them. 45 minutes later his Seargent was going out for his diner break and hears muffled screams coming from the trunk of a patrol car 2 spaces from the door. Goes in and asked who was driving car 23 that night went over to Moreno and asked him and all others except dispatcher to go outside with them. Asked Moreno to open the trunk and they found a pale glassy eyed handcuffed man soaked in sweat saying somebody call the police. My FTO told me he was just laughed at and almost suspended but in 86 he would have been fired.

Great discussion here...just found this one video on this channel. I'm a gig economy food driver and food safety is very strong between prep at the store and drop off. All the bags are sealed and most of the restaurants do not want the delivery driver to inspect, open, or tamper with the sealed bags. Many times, I view them preparing the delivery order and it's given special consideration (for the customer, the the store, and the delivery company.) Tampering with food items is a big no no. Whether it's at the store or elsewhere. There's huge liability for the restaurant/store either way.

I'm something of an expert on the topic, and you should know that's literally how you're supposed to hold the radio mic when transmitting, and exactly how you're supposed to transmit info. And that's how everyone now knows that I was a dispatcher.

Last time i got pulled over i wasn't nervous, just curious as to why. Turns out my tags had expired nearly two months ago and i hadn't realized and the cop even told me that he was just letting me know. I was in the process of moving to another state and was in the area getting things and visiting family in the area while there and told him as such. Got back to the state i was moving to and got new plates the following day. The trip was 14 hours 720 miles one way in the winter. I can do it in 12 in good road conditions with one or two bathroom breaks but not stopping for anything else.

18:12 I honestly think that there’s a good possibility that the guy who said he has “100% eaten spit” might not be correct. Professionalism may be stressed in policing, but in food service, unprofessionalism is an easy fire. Spitting in someone’s food, unless an entire group hates cops (in which case, there is probably a history there, and some cops deserved it for racist actions and persecution), is going to be seen by someone and reported to the boss, who, outside of nepotistic assholes, will CERTAINLY fire the offender. So in food service, if you spit in someone’s food, especially after 2019, you are accepting that it’s your last action employed in that establishment, and most likely any similar ones. To make a long story short (too late), if you’re a cop, unless you KNOW you (or someone who has the same uniform in the same district) have royally pissed people off, to the point that they’d lose a job to get petty revenge, nobody has spit in your food. In all of my time in food service, I’ve never considered it, nor have I worked with anyone who expressed any desire to do so. That kind of stuff is more reserved for comedy movies, like “Waiting,” which I’d give about a 3 on the realism scale myself. Maybe less, overall.

18:39 Oh. That changes things. He’s eaten spit, but only in the food prepared by inmates, most likely. Unless someone in his department does seriously uncouth or unconstitutional things to people on a regular basis, then some people might risk a job to do that.

@@Bobal27I was going to say the movie Casino as well..When Dominic spits on the cops food..has it happened before? I'm sure it has, but it's definitely not some routine thing. At least back in the day when my dad was a cop, he'd get free food or coffee from certain spots in the city. My theory is that's just smart business, especially owning a small diner in Detroit. Much less likely to get robbed or any type of crime if cops know they can get a free meal or cup of coffee or whatever. It ensures more of a police presence. There used to be an amazing slider diner called Geneva Burger but it was in a pretty bad area...Well it had been robbed so many times they closed and moved to the Warren side of 8 mile. Detroit might be more unique in that regard though because outside of a few things downtown the majority of the city looks like a war zone. There's honestly nothing like it anywhere else, sure there's some run down areas in alot of major cities, but nothing like Detroit. I guess whats interesting to me is the most respectful and/or coolest cops i've ever dealt with were DPD, and the biggest dickheads are out here in the burbs. I realize city police have bigger things to worry about than a drug addict getting his fix, but there was always a level of respect from the officer that I rarely see out here in the burbs unless I mention that my dad was a cop. Which I honestly don't like doing because the cops out here take it as me being a smart ass.

@@scottwilson1251 To be real, there is a huge difference between policing and (almost) any other career. Police are out there putting themselves in dangerous situations they’re more prepared to handle, so retention is a MUST in that industry. Turnover has to be low, or we (as a country) will run out of people in that field. Nursing is similar, and there’s a shortage of both in our city. I don’t know how long the “now hiring” billboard-sized sign has been outside of our town’s police department, but it’s been at least a year or two. I’m one state south of you, and DPD sounds like hell to work at, and I wouldn’t do it for a contract with Shady Records. Free stuff is very normal for businesses here, and there’s only one or two neighborhoods where you know crime is happening 24/7, of various kinds. Gunshots aren’t common, but they aren’t rare either. The other half of that, besides any serious appreciation we have for our very professional (even if a few including the chief are iffy) PD, is that other careers don’t care about turnover. Look at McDonald’s, as a major example of that. That means that bosses don’t have to worry as much about how many employees they will always have in their high-stress, low-pay, no-danger pool. That leads to employees having more fear of losing their jobs, and people that hard-up for cash aren’t going to jeopardize their position for anything short of personal revenge, or maybe internet views AND personal revenge. Translate that to any restaurant with actual pay and stress levels set reasonably well, and nobody is spitting in a cop’s food around here, except criminals or people who want to lose their job (like McDonald’s employees, especially with vendettas against the chief and his goon squad). P. S.: I actually just checked their website, and the goon squad seems ousted, or at least the major/chief who I knew wasn’t recording all evidence he collected is no longer listed on their website. Good to know that one bad apple is gone, and now I don’t think anyone in this town outside of a cell would ever spit in, or even consider spitting in, food being made for an officer. Unless Farva comes to life and orders a Leederacola, and then hides evidence.

I was a MP at Ft Leavenworth & we loved dispatching the rookies & privates that were new to the base to the inmate cemetery up on the ridge road. It was in the middle of the woods & creepy as hell! Plus there are 13 Nazi’s buried there that were executed in the 60’s so it was known to be haunted & it was but we’d dispatch em up there & we’d be hiding behind the trees making spooky noises. Freaked em out every time! Good times! Lol
