I still think organ music can be disturbing.

That's the great thing about the organ. Very few instruments can relate such vastly different emotions effectively. A pipe organ can be calming, comforting, triumphant, or downright scary and creepy. I can't think of another instrument with the capability of producing such a wide variety of music crossing every possible emotion.
