I think you owe me some seats!!!!! LOL Nice video. I will eventually purchase some lightweight seats, however, they will have to be recline-able. I do not drive project blue mustang often, but when I do, I have to be comfortable. Oh, you owe me a Drag-race In Canada of-course. LOL

Do you think the wide would fit in a 06 mustang gt
@Sgt.Slides5 жыл бұрын
06 is much larger than a Fox, I was told that there is a fitment guide somewhere that says they DO NOT fit the fox, and I got mine in w/ cage, no problem. I think you'll be fine.

What is the name of the Ebay seats?
@Sgt.Slides4 жыл бұрын
there was no name brand, just look up "racing Seats" on ebay and take your pick. they're all very similar.

What do you think for a sim racing seat ?

Beans, I actually use the FX1 (up to 38" waist) for my RSEAT S1 rig. I have them side mounted in that rig so I can get a little backward tilt. Unfortunately for my use they are also bottom mountable. This means the bottom feet do limit how low they can be side mounted in the S1. They can be cut off with a power saw if you are so inclined. I am 6'1 250 with a linebacker build. Because of my shoulder width I should have definitely gone with the FX1 Wide (40" waist and a bit wider in the shoulders). But the seat is fantastic for the price and very comfortable. If you are a big man you may also want to consider the OMP WRC-R Fibreglass Seat. Its on sale at Murray Motor sports right now. I believe they are side mount only.

It's important to remember that your shoulder belts need to be about shoulder level. If the bottom of the opening goes below your shoulder, you'll compress your spine in an accident. Also, composite seats (your old ebay seat that reclines) is not rated for the track. There was actually an incident at a local track this year where that composite seat bent on impact and the person in the seat broke part of his spine. Or cracked ribs. I don't remember.

ouch, Yes, i try to make sure whatever i do is done properly. Ever since i have had harnesses installed, they have been correctly set, and the e-bay seats were never a permanent set up, so i'm glad to have them outa there.

is it comfy enough to daily ?

Depends on how uncomfortable you want to be. On the plus side, you can swap the cushions for something that feels better.

height is going to be affected by your seat bracket and rail set up.
