Corcovado (Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars) is a bossa nova song and jazz standard written by Antônio Carlos Jobim in 1960. English lyrics were later written by Gene Lees. The Portuguese title refers to the Corcovado mountain in Rio de Janeiro. The backing track is based on the recording by Allan Vache and Harry Allen, a very relaxed version, at 118 bpm, from his album Love Songs Only. It is in the key of C major, it has a 4 bar intro and has 4 choruses. As with all my backing tracks, I have lead sheets for C, Bb and Eb instruments in PDF format, if you require one or more please email me at peach_alan@hotmail.com
