I build a rack to store all of my cordless drills, batteries, and it has a place to hang my reciprocating saw. Plans are available for free on my website www.8d-designs.com

Remember that there is no such thing as a perfect video. Also you are at least brave enough to put videos out for everyone to critique so forget the haters and keep it up.

Looked at several videos trying to come up with an idea on hanging drills. Don't care about the camera work, the video was the best I've seen on how to do it.

Very well done, and even though I've already decided on a different design for my drill rack, I still learned a lot from you and your build. Please keep posting, because I've eagerly subscribed!!

Thanks for the suggestions on how to make the videos better. I'm in the process of upgrading some of my shop equipment and I hope to add better lights and possibly an articulating arm for the camera. I should be back in the shop building things in the next few days.

Brilliant! Absolutely BRILLIANT! Even though I have a different brand of cordless tools, I'll bet your measurements are universal. Every other organizer hadn't taken into account that the bases were the one thing that all tools had in common. Thanks for doing this and showing us how to make it.
@bryanbarry70006 ай бұрын
Thank you! I have been looking for storage ideas for my tools and love the fact that you even included the plans. All the other ones I viewed didn’t really go over the measurements let alone the plans. I plan on trying to do this today.

Like you’re designed! How to chuckle when you were talking about cost of the plywood but then I looked when you record this, just goes to show how much things change. Loved your tip about waiting to put the back on and tracing the outline of the frame so you knew where to put the brad nails.

First, I wouldn't know a perfect instruction video if it jumped up and slapped me in the face. Second, GREAT instructions. Easy to follow and I really appreciate no awful background music. Straightforward and precise...excellent...Only problem I'll have is attaching it without anyone to help me with that, so I have to work on my approach before I make it or figure something else out. Thanks for posting...Love this...

As has been mentioned, don't worry about the camera work. We are often our own worst critics. It's really not bad at all. I've been building lots of things for a long long time. The project, very simple by design, but also very aesthetically pleasing and very functional. Great job.

Fantastic design ! Fantastic end-product ! I built it in my open door garage, it took me several days, but I pieced together your intricate, but excellent design. It was interesting, a Landscaper, Manuel Ramirez, came over to me, and he says, "I see you are working hard, Senior, on your wooden wall hands to hold your tools. In Honduras, the Home Improvement store have very strong Plastic Hands, already made, to put up on your wall, to hold your tools for you. Very inexpensive, but, very strong, Senior".

The camera work is important but you are explaining good so you are doing great and you did better than most people by showing plans with sizes to scale. I want to make one of them and need to find measurements and drawing to work from. I'm in my 60s and just trying to learn the hobby great job

Great build. I like how you hung the tools upside down so you can actually see which tool is which. The problem with all the other styles I’ve seen are that the face of the tool is hidden and you can’t see what the tool is. I will be utilizing your build for my new tool holder. Great job!

I didn't see anything wrong with your camera work, and I gained a lot of information and ideas from your video. I don't have many wood working tools. Mostly mechanic's tools, no brad nailer, but that's where the cordless drill comes into play.

Awesome Video! I care about the basics and I don't need my hand held. I am sitting here designing my own, except I am cutting everything on my laser and not the saw. This provided me with the basics and I am customizing it to my tools. Ignore the back seat drivers.
