Join us on our travel adventures around Spain! We explore two of the must see places in Andalusia: Cordoba and Ronda! These two cities in southern Spain offer an amazing experience in the beautiful Andalusia region.
Cordoba is filled with history everywhere you go! It was a major Roman city as well as an important Islamic centre during the Middle Ages. This is most evident in the major attraction of the city: The Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, or La Mezquita. The Roman Bridge of Cordoba, the Alcazar of the Christian Monarchs, and the historic Jewish Quarter and UNESCO Old Town of Cordoba are other not to be missed areas of the city.
Ronda, Spain is also a not to be missed town in Andalusia. It is most known for the iconic Puente Nuevo, a stone bridge spanning the El Tajo gorge. Ronda is also known to be the birthplace of bullfighting which can be found in the Plaza de Toros, a legendary 18th-century bullring located in Ronda's New Town.
The cities of Cordoba and Ronda offer amazing views and historic insight into the popular Andalusia region of southern Spain and are definitely must see places in this region!
