I am an American who loves Stormzy....but I am getting the impression he is not as loved in the UK as I thought he was lol...true? A lot of hip hop heads in America who keep up with rap from all over the world really like Stormzy. A lot of UK rappers are respected here by real rap fans because the UK has some fire artist that can really bar. Not to say America does not have good artist but it's just something special about the UK rappers.

Watching this from the outside, it’s shown me how subjective most of the opinions are. Stormzy is the only well known UK Rap/Grime/Drill artist in the world. Stormzy is the face of UK Drill/Grime and Rap. And I am saying this because I am from outside UK, he is the only one we know. But I could understand that in the UK all the people you are comparing him are big in the UK, but if you do your research, no one outside the UK knew Wiley before the battle, nor do we still know any of the other mans you guys mentioned. He was the artist that shined a brighter light which allowed a well represented voice but if it draws people in to grimes history....wiley is an innovator inspired many to take it further...thats king but his son the prince, Stormzy took your guidance and repped grime but also decided I think I'm tatelented and can do more....wiley or skepta dave should all say well fuckin done....its not just about bars...its making them with the idea of visuals representation...stepping up and Stormzy stepped THE FUCK UP...in music industry over here...he is very well known and could easily shine in link ups with artists like Dave east and turn around and do one with pitbull....do Khaled....they all love to co-sign wit something new and stormzy checks all the boxes for repetitive streams bc Americans like versatility....especially if he did movies once name is out there....he deserves hella fuckin props against any sub set of hip hop....he proved in one album alone.... I know who I am and it comes in many versions...he is meant for this shit in many ways....his next project will let us know if he is already switching lanes or still hungry for spotlight money or boss money

Andrew Henry Dave is a lyrical genius there's no denying that, the lyrics he produces takes time for some people to understand how deep they are. What I said is, she doesn’t listen to music. If you do it’s not viable to hold him to the esteem she does. His respect is not gained for his music, its the things he does away from the music that makes him what he is. Real music people don’t have Stormzy in their playlist. He’s far from the best skill wise. 80% of his catalogue lacks replay value. It’s impossible to call him the king of grime when his Wiley diss is his most grime track for the past however many years. It’s not viable for Wiley, Ghetts and P-money to still be about and not be a consideration to her. She doesn’t rate chip - meaning she doesn’t really rate skill. She doesn’t rate music.
