Dryland workouts should be a part of every swimmer's weekly program. You can do this once a week and you will feel much better in the water. On this workout we go over a series of exercises that will strengthen mainly your core and your arms. Follow along Marianna as she powers through this workout.

I’ve been doing this almost every day for about a month now, and I am getting stronger! I haven’t been in the pool for a while, but these workouts have been getting easier and easier. I really like the style of these videos and they’re short enough for me to be motivated to do every day. Thank you!

For 4 months when my pool was closed I did whatever it took to reach my Swimming goals! I did all the work!!! And when I came back in my swimming in July this year, I ended up reaching all of my Swimming goals & goal times in my events this year! It was the best season ever! And I had a lot of fun & learned a lot! But now, my pool closed again. But that doesn’t mean it’s over! I am still going to train & do my dryland training workouts again! Because it really really helped me a lot! And I feel really really happy with my Swimming training I did this year! And I look forward to continuing with it and swim faster again! So, I recommend everyone to keep on training & never give up no matter what! Keep on believing in yourself!

On a good note. This was a good workout. Easy to follow. I will be using it to strengthen my core until I have the opportunity to swim. Thank you.

Tabata? How are you ever going to reach 170% of VO2max with these exercises?
@dyvel
@dyvel 3 жыл бұрын
@@antimilkpropaganda Ok, so it's not tabata then? Because tabata is defined as 8x(20/10) HIIT specifically at 170% of vo2max. So it's either HIIT, or just interval training.

I like your channel, but this vid I cant recommend, though its motivating and an inspiration to get of the sofa. But a lot of the routine is executed poorly, you should either wait till the model is able to fullfil the requirments, or take another model 4 such vids, otherwise u teach people quite badly. The burpees aren't burpees (Pull-up followed by Squatjump, not lying on the floor with hip and push just upper body up, the crunches are all with too much momentum, the pull-ups are poorly ... it is obvious that here muscles in her upper body cannot cope with this routine).
