At first, I too tried _DriverStoreExplorer_ (same problem, 2 different drivers). And found nothing. Since my problem was that those drivers were just some old leftovers. So, I searched for their location on a disk. And then *I simply renamed them* (not the smartest solution, but I wasn't 100 % sure...). Perhaps I do proper cleaning later. Obviously, that required admin-rights. But nothing else, since they were'nt actually in active use anymore. I was little iffy, since I still do have Logitech Keyboard & Mouse. But due to new mouse, I changed to use the newer SW, Logitech G Hub. From that older, similar SW. The other thing was some Asus app for Ipad Charging, via PC's USB. Which didn't work, so I uninstalled it. Or so I thought. Anyways, this is all I did today: *LGVirHid.sys* --> C:\Windows\System32\drivers\ *Renamed* - *LGVirHid.sys* *AiCharger.sys* --> C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ *Renamed* - *AiCharger* So, just two renamings, and I was able to set _Memory Integrity_ On (well, a Reboot was needed first). I installed Windows 10 Home (64b) in 10/2019, then using Logitechs older SW. And I also tested that Asus SW, which didn't work. Few weeks ago, I upgraded to *Windows* *10* *Pro* *(64b)* . It was fast process & I didn't have to re-install any of my SW. Great! But... I also didn't get rid of some old crap from 2019 and 2020, which caused this little problem. Everything seems to work now, though. I'm not sure how many have even noticed this feature, since it's buried here: Start > Settings > Security > Windows Security > Open Windows Security > Device Security > *Core Isolation* Memory Integrity: *On*

what is core isolation
@eukariootti13 жыл бұрын
support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/core-isolation-e30ed737-17d8-42f3-a2a9-87521df09b78 - "Core isolation is *a security feature of Microsoft Windows* that protects important core processes of Windows from malicious software by isolating them in memory. It does this by running those core processes in a virtualized environment. Memory integrity is one feature of core isolation which regularly verifies the integrity of the code running those core processes in an attempt to prevent any attacks from altering them. We recommend that you leave this setting on, if your system supports it."
