Always take into account the bottleneck produced by smelting, i have 3 galaxite boulders super close together, so much that 2 have to share a conveyor track, and with 3 smelters i always have still ore in and slowly acumulating inside because it smelts so slow

i tried to use belts like factorio and belt everything to my base, but i guess thats not how the game is designed

It runs out so quick it's not worth it, just setup a chest and go back for it

actually your observation is based on you standing near them. the times varies differently when you're NOT near the drills at all. so try go away from your drills and you will see a different result. after a while, its a waste of time to bother setting up the automation. since the nodes deplete, its more of a pain in the ass to tear down your automation setup and then redoing it at a new location. better to just drop down a generator and drill and walk away. come back collect the ores and smelt them back at base. the automation was novel at first but not worth the trouble in the long run since the need for bars is not demanding or pressing.

Your math is very wrong. Assuming each node is producing at the same time, your first number of 2 every 120 seconds is correct, but with 2 drills on each, it doesn't double the amount of time? It would still be 2 ore per the same amount of time. If you took away one node, it wouldn't be 1 ore per 138 seconds, it would be the same 68 seconds or whatever it is. So 2 isn't going to double. ya feel me? Bad information.

they changed teh way these work literally week later so that actually more drills isnt as effective, so yeah suck on my chunnies with ya crap feedback

You are doubling the 69 seconds even though the drills are operating at the same time on 2 different boulders, you said 138 seconds for 2 ore which is wrong its 69 seconds lol doesn't matter what they changed the information is wrong for the current patch the video is about
