My brother and I decided to check out this game's multiplayer and ended up playing for like 7 hours -- we found 2 bosses, 3 types of enemies, and a few different cool biomes. An NPC moved in with us. Honestly after the first boss I started getting a little attached, hopefully this game is a good price

This is the best demo I ever played I think. It’s a full game. I watched about half the video then played the demo. I didn’t want to be too spoiled on the game. Well done Splattercat on finding this one. It scratches all the itches.

This strikes me as a game where you NEVER want to throw anything away unless you literally have no choice, and even then, you want to start with the plain dirt and such that you get from digging/mining. Also, underground game? Starting as a miner seems like a no-brainer.

One feature I really dig about this game is that it lets you use **any** weapon, tool or armor basically forever. You can "upgrade" all equipment and make everything from the most basic stuff to the late game ones viable up to the endgame. Also, if you hold "shift" you equip your torch-

Man… watching you trash seeds to make room in your inventory instead of planting them or storing them… that was hard to watch. Goes against every hoarder gaming instinct I have. 😅

I can already tell that I'm gonna spend more time than is reasonable playing this game

Had a blast, played the demo for two days (about 14 hours) and only got one of three bosses down and had just got up to the third workbench crafting wise. The demo let you get really far and I still had so much to do when it ended. Skill tree was great and I'm glad you can reroll it seeing as the demo didn't let you read what later skills did (was worried I was locking in paths I wouldn't later like until I saw reroll option). So excited I can keep all that progress as thier Twitter states. Comes out March 8th so not too bad a wait.

Played over 100hrs of Cryofall and this game absolutely is that/ Valheim in pixel art. cant stop playing, so good and it says its only version .2 just like Vampire Survivors. Maybe .2 is the new metric for fun as hell.

It's kinda interesting how I started playing this in March.. and it's like version 0.8 or 0.7.. meanwhile the demo is 0.2 and is only from February.. I suppose they released a lot in a short amount of time.

this giving me a mix of terraria and oddly enough dungeon-keeper vibes. only issue other than a potential pacing one is that inventory is tiny given the number of items available.

So, I've played about 45 minutes. The sword swing should be a *tiny* bit bigger. It seems like you have to walk into the mobs like the really old games. Also, the focus square direction feels even worse than most of this type of game, which can be a real nuisence. Other than that, I really love it. I had an idea for a game similar to this, only without the actual mining. A purely underground survival game is something I've been itching for... if anyone's seen me play Minecraft, you'd already know that. Maybe 80% of my bases are underground, and tend to have everything from gardens to orchards. lol One thing I'd add is some way to see that a crop is ripe. I'd also kill the ability to break one that isn't, unless you've equiped a shovel or hoe. I don't know about anyone else, but I miss-click a ton. Unless it comes in later in the gameplay, doors would be nice, too. Something automatic... for you. I'm paranoid. lol

Looks okay I guess. Not as good as Necsse though. Necssie is zee best. I'll pick this one up in a sale. Thank you Mr Splatter.
