Corey Feldman sings a tuneful tune on Howard Stern's Channel 9 Show in 1992 (believe it's titled "What's Up with the Youth").

stern is like one of those old rock bands that doesnt want to write the same songs again on their new album. so they "reinvent" themselves. which is fine, if you pull it off correctly. stern didnt make the right choice as he chose to become this whiny lecturer. he did have interview skills. if he were smart and wanted to go in another direction he could have attempted to do what joe rogan does today. interview interesting people about interesting things. but, i dont think stern's mind was ever THAT curious to be able to pull it off but it would have been the better attempt than what he does now.

The genesis of this song actually was a private dinner Corey was invited to by George and Barbara Bush. At that dinner the president asked the youth star, "Corey what is up with the youth?" Corey was alleged to have replied, "I don't know." Later that night, while asleep in the Lincoln bedroom the song came to him in a dream. He awoke and in a flash scribbled down the words by the light of a fire. The rest is history.

It's kinda genius on Howards part decades later, probably was very misunderstood at the time as slapstick or the ridiculous. He created a very detailed, Retardo Soul Train type production that contrasts Corey's ultra serious social commentary song and demeanor perfectly.
