The holidays are so hard for so many of us. The relentless push to be merry and cheerful can be overwhelming. Your honesty in this song is so refreshing. Giving us all permission to feel our own personal losses and remember the people who were so dear to us. I'm so grateful to your beautiful mama, for raising a boy with the most incredible heart, and who seeks to share that heart with us all. It's a gorgeous tribute and song.

This will be my first Christmas without either my Dad or my Mother. The thought of it almost paralyzes me. I just listened to this for the first time and as it began I predisposed that it was going to be a sad song, but by the end I had the warmest feeling throughout my soul. Neither of them would want me to skip Christmas. This is such a beautiful song of honoring your Mom and her memory. At least that's how I perceived it. I just absolutely love it and guarantee it's going to be on loop for me the rest of this month!

Corey,I lost my Dad in 2015 3 days before his birthday 😔. Since then I lost 5 Pet’s, diagnosed with thyroid cancer had a total thyroidectomy with nodules removed and severe back surgery that took almost 7 hours.Im trying to get out of debt and live a better life. Your music helps.

So beautiful! I'm a life long Corey fan since my early days of growing up in eastern Canada. His music helped me through my teenage years tremendously especially the song, Never Surrender. There will always be a special place in my heart for Corey. He was my first major crush and I thought he was the most perfect man. I am 10 years younger but oh, how I adored him! My mom passed away in early December 1975 when I was a small child in New Brunswick, Canada. This song has so much personal meaning. Corey just keeps getting better with age.

I lost my mom in September 2010, just shy of her 80th birthday. I was 40 years old but felt like a child again missing my mom. Christmas was her favourite time of the year and brought all of her seven children home. So wonderful that Corey was able to honour his mom with such a beautiful song.

Although it makes me sad I love this song, mom is still with us, but is dealing with Dementia and my brother and I are her 24/7 caregivers in her home. I some respects we have partly lost who our mom was even though she is still with us.
