I saw Corey Maggette at the Georgia Tech v/s Duke game! He was spectacular! Duke came back from a time out and trapped at half court and Ga Tech tried to throw a cross court pass to beat the trap... Maggette leaps like halfway out of the gym and steals the ball and takes two dribbles from half court and raised up, up and away from all the Ga Tech players and YAMMED ON ALL THEIR PITIFUL BUTTS

D. West ratted him out. Coach K didn't hold it against him. This story makes Corey look flacky and tacky and irresponsible.

James Bowser he was a freshman take it easy.........the year before he had to ask a teacher to use a bathroom. The next year he was sought after for the draft.

Yeah James, u hafta remember he was an 18-yr old 21 years ago! They asked him a question and the his age now Maggette answered it accordingly! He showed his maturity in being up front! I'll tell ya though that man had potential that was thru the proverbial roof back in '98-'99! He was the best freshman in America hands down that season, but in hindsight today, like with several one and dones, he could have used another year

I Just Came Across This And I'm Still Baffled By The Fact That Mr. Maggette Got A Job As A Sports Commentator/Analyst. Why Am I Baffled By This? Because Mr. Maggette Can't Speak English Well And Doesn't Speak English Well. I Mean, It's Obvious To Anyone That Can Speak English Well (Properly) That He Can't Speak English Well (Properly), So The Fact That He's Got A Job In Which You Need To Speak English Well (Properly) And Punctually (Be Quick On Your Feet) Is Just Baffling To ME! I Could Understand Him Getting A Job As A Commentator/Analyst On A Black News Media Network Where They Strictly Employ Blacks And A Black Style Of Speech And Rhetoric! But He Being Employed By News Network That's White Owned, Operated, And Oriented Is Baffling To ME!

Maybe you should take the earplugs out (metaphorically-speaking)...I understood him perfectly well; Had no problem at all. But reading your critique of Maggette's English was a painful experience. What educational system in the English-speaking world did you attend-that taught you that you need to capitalize each and every word in a sentence? Could be a clue as to the origin of your befuddlement.
