If you hate Corey Perry, he’s succeeding in doing exactly what they pay him for. If you actually understand the structure of a championship team, you’d understand a guy like Perry is a pivotal asset. His only problem is that he’s playing past his prime and not scoring the goals he used to. His jersey will someday hang in Anaheim’s rafters and he’ll certainly garner HOF consideration. As far as he’s concerned, every time someone gets bent over his play, he hears a cash register chah ching!
