It was an alcohol related incident that the new management has no tolerance for. They did an investigation that determined the extent of it and that extent was one that they felt merited the cancellation of his contract. He’s getting help and the NHL said he could continue to play for a team that signed him as a free agent. That Bedard rumor was disgusting and put Bedards family in a horrible spot where they could not say anything in response, but no, it had nothing to do with that bullshit rumor that people like you continue to discuss and spread.
