@troydean57022 жыл бұрын
It took a long time for Layne to coax jerry out of his shell. He wouldn't of ever been what he is without Layne. Layne was his biggest supporter and fan. It was more then the voices it was also how it was written. The timing made as much of a difference. If you changed the timing it would of sounded more like these two. Better than these two but we wouldn't come close to noticing how special that actually were. Listen there are a couple grunge era singers that I hold at the top of my My. Rushmore now if you ask me to name my top ten I might be able to complete it without my brain hemorrhaging out of my ears. Now if your asking for my top four, well then I will pass because I feel like living today. Cheers and RIP to many of the best to ever do it, also to rest who wanted to be the best and worked as hard as they could with what they had and still never made it. I respect those who tried and failef much more than those who sit back and criticize others for trying to do something they didn't have the stones to even try.

Did some of the most amazing covers I've ever heard. If you haven't heard Aaron Lewis play 4 non blondes what's up (video from lake Tahoe is generally the best I think) or his 80s medley love bites/I'll remember you/sweet child o mine. MTV needs to get back to rock music, I used to watch FUSE because they did in the 2000's but now they are like MTV and VH1.

My favorite performance ever. New years Eve 2011. I still have my poster. Corey was awesome. And Aaron, well..it was amazing to see how super talented guys like Corey look up to Aaron. And you can tell why. My favorite video to watch from the night, and my favorite part of the show was when Aaron performed 'please'. There's a great video of it. This was so amazing. To see 2 superstars jamming after midnight. Messing up and forgetting the words just like the rest of us. "Hey, you go low I'll go high"❤️❤️❤️

Aaron Lewis really surprised me with his vocals. He was good at interpreting Layne and Jerry both..

His whole style is based around grunge bands like that. They're his idols. He breathes that music effortlessly, especially with his vocal ability.

Very powerful and resonant with a bite that gives you chills when he pushes it out hard. Crazy range without even trying. Never appreciated him until recently. When he got away from staind and did live work.
