This is the kind of blues rhythm lesson I was looking for. You're one of the few giving clear lessons for intermediate and advanced players. You don't assume too much and you don't hold people's hands too much. You're both clear and concise. Love it.

Sweet Corey, these shapes were a lightbulb for me this week. It’s super powerful to be able to find “triads” of the 1 3 and b7 on adjacent strings all over the neck and build it into comping. Love this lesson which reinforces a very important concept. Love it man.

Got my 1st guitar in 1967. It may as well have been a do it yourself Apollo 13 kit. But because I love Music, and wasn't happy just listening to it, I learnt to play a little. And then that wasn't enough . It is only when you can Be the music that you will be happy. Thanks, Cory, KZfaq, and every other Muso who helped lead me to Paradise.

Awesome t-shirt Corey!!! Love that album, it's so insane how modern and hip that sounds to this very day. Looping/sampling type sounds in 1966... crazy stuff and the lyrical content too. OK, now let me get back to listening to the lesson :-)

My first visit to your channel. Really enjoyed it. I’ve been using some triads for 3 years or so but only recently discovered the minor triad for example. I needed a dom7 triad. I found your approach really helpful

Great lesson! Love these partial chord shapes, and you are right Sir, they do sound more Pro! Importantly they allow the bass and drum groove to shine. they allow you to jump out into lead lines.
