I hate the term “foster fail” it’s so lame, it’s not a fail it just means you realized they were apart of the family, I think it’s GREAT to keep a foster animal if it becomes attached

I had a bloodhound but wanted the basset. Lola was loud so my husband chose Dayzee. 😂 Our daughter has always wanted a smaller dog. After french bulldogs (which I explained was a no) We always had rescue...even Dayzee. My daughter then settled on Corgis. To my delight. Except they seem to be a shop breed. But oh my!!! If they like cats!!!! Yes we have a few. All of our rescue dogs have been BEYOND GREAT. Yep call our home a zoo. But this video makes me think we need a Corgi! 😂

Yep I have 4 adopted kitties. My first is a spoiled little brat, even as an adult.

Yup, have 7 foster fails...4 dogs and 3 cats...the dogs and cats are fine together, sadly two of the cats, not so much. But I love how my dogs treat other cats they meet, they always want to meet cats - the cats don't always want to meet them! - and are so excited about meeting them. To be honest, I haven't had dogs who are so cat friendly before. Bit of a surprise to me. I previously owned Jack Russells who are not great with cats. These dogs are all rescued, not sure if that made the difference. I had one rescue Shih Tzu mix who adored cats. I fostered kittens and he treated them like long lost children. He was ecstatic when a new kitten arrived, Bugsy the cat whisperer. Gone now, but never forgotten. I love a mixed household of dogs and cats!

I love fostering. I now have 4 dogs and 3 cats. I realize that people say after 4 years you're no longer fostering but I'm just waiting for the right owner, right?

@@spikesgirl9371 I would want to keep them all. Although right now I'm worried about becoming homeless anyway so I may have to worry about my 4 cats. So I cant foster anyway. All of my cats are rescues that found me.

Mine carries bottle tops and old socks--he brings toys when he wants to play fetch; he just places them elsewhere if it's not his game time. FUN to watch!

My oldest cat (13) used to play fetch with straw when she was a kitten and would drag my shoes under the couch when I wasn't home. My second to youngest cat (7) loves her toy mice and will carry them to other rooms and then hunt them later. She hides them from herself and will not go near them for a few days until she wants to hunt. My other two cats (12 and 6) try to steal blankets and anything they can carry.

My older cat Pebbles loves her llama woollen balls (they're wound up so tightly), she'll carry them from one spot to another then drop onto her side and bunny kick it to loosen the wool. She then starts to tear it apart leaving chunks of wool all over the house. She never eats it thankfully. The balls then get smaller and smaller till there's nothing left. I've lost count of how many of these balls she's gone through over the years. But it's so much fun watching each cat have their own little quirks. My old cat (no longer with us) used to love playing with cotton tips and balls of paper. She'd actually play soccer with the paper balls. Cats can be very economical when it comes to toys. I've bought many over the years but they prefer the cheapest thing they can find. Love, love, love cats, so much fun then all they want to do is cuddle ❤

We had a little kitten who would carry around a scarf I knitted. She would walk around yeowling with it in her mouth. It stunk and was dirty and mishaped but she loved her "baby" ❤️

Dogs and puppies too are hard to resist since they have much more lovable personalities than cats. Yet somehow you heartless cat people still refuse to see how loveable dogs are, and you still dont love dogs no matter what. You are blind to their cuteness and insensitive to their affection. I've answered one of her comments with a dissertation on the stigma that felines have had to carry since the middle ages. The ancient Egyptians were the wise ones. In any case, I think my comment went way over her head. I like cats. I like dogs. So, she is wrong straight away.

Hi Tripp! I'm so happy to hear you adopted Sunset. There are so many strays around there and the library :(. I hope we see you guys down at the beach! We'll keep an eye out! Thank you for your kind words on Olive. It's been two weeks as of today and we're still destroyed over the incident. Keep a close eye on Sunset. We think someone intentionally swerved into the shoulder to hit her and a few neighbors have suspected foul play with cats they've has go missing recently as well. It seems we may have a neighbor who doesn't like cats and is taking action on it :(.

@@nataliekparra That’s pretty disgusting. Was it on Waialua Beach rd? Luckily We live in an extreme corner of Kukea Circle and our house is well back from the road. The road makes a very sharp turn at our driveway so the little traffic that comes by is driving really slow. I had to put own one of my other rescues that had cancer a few weeks ago. Her Name was Lucille and she showed up 5 years ago with 2 kittens and a very badly chewed up rear leg. She must’ve had to fight a dog to get her kittens to safety. She also had a cleft pallet and no front teeth, so hunting for food was difficult and she was nothing but boned s. Sh’s lucky she came to us. We Put her and the kittens in a cage and let her recuperate. Once she was feeling better I would let her out to meet my dogs. When we knew they would get along we brought her in the house but my other rescue cat, Pu’uiki (named for the farm road behind our house where we found her at 6 weeks old), was not having it at all. From then on she didn’t want to come into the house much anymore. Neither of the cats wanted anything to do with Sunset when he was a tiny kitten so my dogs let him into their gang and they raised him. That’s why we take him along with the dogs to the beach and the park. He also comes with us to my shop at the sugar mill. He loves to play rough and he will start the play fighting more often than the dogs. He’s pretty good on his own, but when they double team him he just has to fend them off until he can dash under a chair or out the window. He doesn’t have much experience with roads with cars and he’s not as smart as the female cats, so when we get near public roads I’m always nervous. Luckily we stay on private property or walk the back roads (cane haul) to and from the house) or drive to the beach, so he’s safe there. It’s been a couple weeks since he’s been to the beach so maybe We’ll try to go to the beach at aweoweo tonight. If you see a blonde husky/lab, a black pit/terrier mix,and a white color point kitten (he’s big for his age) that’s us.

If you are interested, there is a channel called 8 Corgi House and they post videos of their family of Corgis. The parents do not have tails, but the 6 “kids” all have their tails. I prefer them with tails myself.

If you really want a corgi with a tail, they have them already. They are called Cardigan Welsh Corgis, they are slighty bigger, may have longer fur, and do not get their tails docked.

I've had 2 Pembroke (without the tails) and it's funny how you get used to it. They don't knock things off with there tails, they don't get dirty, and it's so cute when they wag their little nubbins! Now we have a dog with a tail and it seems so weird.😁
