Wow! Goosies! I certainly hear both Amy and Vince in Corinna but she has a touch of soul in her voice that takes it to the next level. Her phrasing is her own spin on an already beautiful song. I have listened to this over and over and I'm moved beyond words... I worked for Amy (her management company) back in the early 80's, plus knew her from Belmont Church (those really were the Glory days!). She was still in school at Vanderbilt and looked so much like Corrina. She was just finding her wings but already soaring... She was so dear to me. I still have the sweet note she wrote me (41 years ago!) when I left B&H. I treasure it for her kindness in expressing the things she said... I know she and Vince are incredibly proud of Corinna, as they are of all their kids. Her response at the end was so precious! Like she felt the love of the crowd like a warm hug! There is such a tenderness in this performance you can feel it both emotionally and even physically. I cannot wait to hear more from her! Thank you so much for sharing this performance with all of us. The audio is incredible (I'm listening thru Bluetooth) and tho' I have seen another post of this amazing song, you included Liza Jane which brought the house down in a different way... I somehow think Corrina's performance here was a once in a lifetime moment that will go down in musical history! Hope this goes viral, the world needs to hear her in this touching tribute to her Mom! 😘👍! I think it could be her "Father's Eyes"!! If you know what I mean!

@S. Wilson , I just saw this comment about "My Father's Eyes." I used to sing that in church with my guitar during my teenage years. I ran into people decades later, still telling me how they loved the song and if they were unaware of Amy Grant, I'd send them to the Amy Grant version. I do some songwriting in my spare time. Do you know where I might send some demos for artists such as Corrina? I have one song in particular needing ears. Thank you.

Me, too. And you know she can reach really high notes and do those breathy low notes, as well. It was like God literally blended the best of Vince & Amy's voices and put them into Corrina. She has superstar potential. And witness potential out of this world!!!

@@sharonp6468 You nailed it! I watched some older clips after watching this and she had grown by leaps and bounds. Her confidence is really blossoming. Having worked for Amy (her management company) back in the early 80's when she was right around Corinna's age, I remember how hard it was for Amy to do her first big concerts at Estes Park and other venues after her initial forays into the music world, being playing for her friends at Harpeth Hall and singing at youth groups and at church where I first heard her. Corinna coming from such music biz "royalty" is both a benefit as well as big shoes to fill and expectations to live up to. She has no need to feel embarrassed for her emotions that welled up on one night's performance, those listening felt it too. It's just hard to sing when those things happen. But as she said, "She takes after her daddy". And the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Both in the tear department and the talent department. This emotionally charged performance gives us a peak into the potential this young woman has and it is exciting to see! By the way Jenni Gill is also an amazingly talented artist as well. Perhaps others too but those are the only ones I've heard. I really loved the innocence of her performance and her response at the end. You could clearly see how much she felt the love from the audience that was fortunate enough to be there that night!!... More to come!

Oh great question! It’s called When My Amy Prays. Written by her Dad Vince Gill who wrote it about his wife Amy Grant. Their daughter changed it to When My Mama Prays for this performance.
