When Cormega is talking about how he talks to his fans, he means it. I sent him a message once telling him his music means a lot to me and named the track "Rapture" as one of my favorites, mentioned a few things about my life and how his music has been with me through some shit. He responded, and I thought that was it. MONTHS later, I get a message that says it's from Cormega. He says "if you love Rapture then check this track out" with a link to one of his newer songs. This dude is really about his fans.

Only thing I have to say is mega making it seem as nas wrote it off his letters, when nas clearly says in the song, "What up with Comeau? Did yall see him are yall together? If so, hold the forte down!' That don't sound like they were all that cool if he is asking the crew about em. If they was cool, nas on his books and they know what's what... something dont sound right.

Fav. rapper. It was solidified when I saw him one night on the Queensboro Plaza platform a few years ago. Yes. He was waiting for the N train with a small black bodega bag in his hand. He looked like a regular New Yorker. I was so in awe that I approached him & told him he was one of my favorite rappers. He was so humble & had such peaceful energy. Y'all don't know but alot of these dudes act funny when you catch them in these types of environments. Riding the subway as someone who was once signed to Violator & on records with platinum selling artists is seen as falling off but he wasn't embarrassed & trying to shrug me off. He was happy that a fan showed him love in this type of setting & he reciprocated the energy. He thanked me for showing love, asked me my name & where I was headed then dapped me up & said "be safe fam" & I kept it moving. Brief interaction but one of the most memorable as far as entertainers go. It made realize that he's the epitome of what "Realness" is.

@@misfit1nx865 this was around 2010 & most likely he didn't have a choice but to be riding MTA. I'm just assuming here. But I know dudes personally who ain't got a fraction of the platform that Mega has who wouldn't be caught on MTA if it was life or death. They'd rent a KIA for a day in their Auntie's name to ride out to long island before you see them on MTA. He wasn't paranoid over the possibility that someone may recognize him or anything like that. He was just a regular dude waiting on that N train like I was & that made me feel at ease enough to let him know I appreciate his artistry & as a result of the interaction I respect who he is as a human.

Big Facts. I could be here all day doing this. easily one of the best to do it.

@@quhectic221st : Tragedy dope emcee no debating. Tragedy as a person is a bad hater, watch his Drink Champs episode on how Conway isn’t interacting with him at all, Tragedy was trying to roast Prodigy on how he tried to take credit for the track “ LA LA “ and Conway face paints a picture he was cool with Prodigy before he died. And when Mega said we calling everybody today and N.O.R.E. said shall we call Trag too Mega was like Nah, because he doesn’t fuck with Tragedy no more.

What I don’t like is that every time Mega gets interviewed, they ask him about Nas, but never ask Nas about Mega. They do the same thing to Dame when it comes to Jay. I expected more from Nore.
