I really like the video from the top of the silo and high drone footage. I rely on people like you to let me see things from the top, because if I had to do it it would be a shot from about the 10 foot level, anymore. When I was probably 12 years old I was climbing up the ladder in the hay mow when a board broke and I fell about 30 feet down the chute, thankfully the cows had hay in front of them already or I would have hit the cement. Nothing like laying there trying to figure out if your ok, when you get a lick from the cow your lying in front of, all was ok nothing broken with me except the raw spot on the side of my head from the cow lick. 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you for today's video.

Love your videos And. Always informative. I had a stroke 16 years ago and can't stand hieghts now. Before that being a farm kid I could climb a 80 foot harvester and sit on the top to watch all the neighboring town fireworks lol without a second thought. But not now, no way. People can't understand why you climb up the silos like that with out a second thought. It's part of farming .🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍👍👍👍 🇺🇸🐮🐮🐮🐮🐄🐄🐄🐄

Cool video Andy. It’s cool hearing about your childhood and growing up on the farm. It’s also awesome to see how successful your farm is and how you have a future generation coming up. The other night I watched a show about how many dairy farms have closed in New York State in the past few years. It’s definitely not like it used to be. The show hit home for me because we sold our dairy cows in 2009. Have a good weekend!

Do you do high moisture shelled corn rather than earlage because of it's more concentrated , As in no cob or for other reasons , I'm just curious ! Your smaller fields and rolling ground are similar to our ground , took the ranger today from house where I grew up to the farthest small field up and down several hills and across one creek was just exactly one mile on the odometer ! Gonna get some sunshine for those beans ? Is this the first time for soybeans ? Was that silo designed for shelled corn or does it make a difference ? To many questions I know , thanks for taking us along , didn't know you had 4wheel drive , sure helps I'll bet !

@@Adam_Poirier you are one of the few... Used to be most dairies had a few 50+/- horse tractors... Now days, many are like Andys... Gosselin Farms Ed Gosselin yeah we had mainly Olivers-a couple 1800s and 1755. We had a John Deere 4010 and then for the tillage tractors a couple model 145 versatile‘s,Minneapolis Moline plainsman, and Minneapolis Moline G 1000 vista. And then for the smaller hay making tractors and loader tractors a couple of fords a 4000 and 5000 I think. There was not a computer in sight hahah. But toss some wires on them and I'm lost🤣😂 She's doing good, so I just keep telling her she knows more than I do..lol... They still say it's compression, timing and fuel... But the computer messes that up! Got an N14 third generation ECM.... Fought it for a year, then it was totally dead.. the only one in the county happened to be on the shelf in Portland.. damn near buy a new motor for what that ecm cost...
