In this video, Mr. Cast Iron demonstrates how to cook sweet corn on the cob in the microwave. You can easily do this by leaving the husk on, and it doesn't take long, either! Two minutes and it's done!

Does work, and saves a bunch'o time if your in the middle of serving up a holiday BBQ meal. The neat thing is you can do 3, pullem, put on a plate with husks on, cover with a kitchen towel, cook 3 more, cover 3more, so on. 9 ears cooked, hot and ready to serve up in 10 minutes or less. Ya run out, cook just what ya need in just minutes. No left overs, no waste.

Yes sir Mr Cast Iron, i've been doing it like that for years. I cook it for four minutes instead of two though. Corn cooked this way goes great with a Rib eye seared in a very hot cast iron skillet.

@@MrCastIron HAHAHA, yeah, can’t beat free99🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣and in reality, even at .50c/ea is not BAD, it’s just the principle of it, kinda like going to the least expensive gas station instead of supporting the most expensive one…I’m just stubborn 🤣🤣🤣🤣
