Kockums SuperTyfon MKT 150/110, Malmö, Sweden.
J'ai terminé mon projet de corne de brume roulante et le résultat n'est pas mal!!!
Ses possibilités d'utilisations sont variées et bien entendu, sonores!!!
Alarme, sirène, corne de supporter, projet artistique ou évènementiel, tout est possible.
La fréquence est basse, 110Hz, et le son puissant, 149db à un mètre!!! Normal pour une corne prévue pour équiper des bailles de 200m et plus.
Celle-ci est vendue à un artiste français dans le cadre d'une expo à Montpellier (34).

Je compte restaurer et vendre plusieurs cornes identiques et de fréquences diverses, 110, 130 et 165Hz.
Les marins qui souhaitent équiper leur bateau avec quelque chose de plus sérieux que ce que le constructeur leur a fourni sont les bienvenus.
Un compresseur de 100 litres ou plus est indispensable pour la faire fonctionner.

I finished my project of rolling fog horn and the result is not bad!
There is a wide range of uses and, of course, much sound!!!
Alarm, siren, goal horn, artistic project or public event, everything is possible.
The frequency is low, 110Hz, and powerful, 149db at one meter!! Normal for a horn built to equip tin cans of 200m or more.
Maximum air pressure should be 8 Bar/125 psi, safety first.
The body is cast steel, PC and valve are bronze, the bell is fiberglass.
The solenoid can either be 12, 24V DC or 230V AC.
The tank on the rolling cart is 50l.
A compressor of 100L or more is needed to make it work.
This one is sold to a French artist in the context of an exhibition in Montpellier (34).

I plan to restore and sell multiple identical horns in various frequencies, 110, 130 and 165Hz.

I live in the Marina District of San Francisco and I can hear the foghorns on the Golden Gate Bridge. There is a Supertyfon 150-110 on the pier of the south tower and an imitation diaphone (two horns that sound with a high and low tone) at midspan.

No I'm intrested by the tornado sirens the diaphone is a very rare Ship Horn it is very fragile the diphgram broke during the shipping it is a type B diaphone it sounds weired sadly it stopped working i fixed the diphgram it too expensive to be shipped i need take it apart if i can i have a second offer from a ebayer

alexis trinquet Good evening, do people usually speak english in Gouvieux, Oise?!!! How comes "broken during the shipping"? This is a heavy piece of cast and machined bronze... Sad news. There are a few Diaphone fans in the US. Some have made bronze rotors built for purpose by machine shops, I'm sure there are a few spare left around. Need me to ask about it? BTW, I have a Castle Castings siren, not for sale! Must be the only one here in France!!! Will be on YT soon.

the horn came broken during the shipping because the horn was cracked and the hardiest part to repair was the diaphgram I am the only one in USA to own A French Air Raid siren(3 of those one is square horned 2 others not) i forgotten tu update my profile since i leave france
