Cornelia Jakobs har tävlat i Melodifestivalen både som artist och låtskrivare. 2011 och 2012 medverkade hon som en del av gruppen Love Generation, och förra året var hon en av låtskrivarna bakom Efraim Leos "Best of Me".
Hon började spela i band på mellanstadiet och ser sig som en liveartist, med starka kreativa visioner musikaliskt och visuellt och med ett sound som är organiskt, filmiskt, känslostarkt och tidlöst.
Cornelia har släppt nio singlar och färdigställer nu sitt debutalbum.

Sweden, I had not had such a big crush on an artist and song at Melodifestivalen in years. Please, send Cornelia. She's gold. The song has SOUL, and that's what great (Eurovision) songs are made of. Don't led this diamond remain a Swedish secret. I was waiting for the song to drop on Spotify ever since I first heard it. I knew nothing could top it, and have just been so hung up on it.

She told us in an interview that there were a couple of issues with the staging during the semi. The lighting will be different in the final and the camera work will be better. Also, her mother is giving her outfit an upgrade. I am excited!

Thank you Dario! I hope that my countrymen listen to you. I would be so proud to send Cornelia to ESC representing Sweden. Its one of the best songs ever in Melodifestivalen. I have not loved a song so much since Bulletproof. I was so sad when it didnt win and then ESC was cancelled. I hope that Cornelia gets the victory she deserves. She is by far the best in this years Melodifestivalen.

@@grasschannel5272 Yes this is a really weak year for both melfest and ESC(so far). Im actually really dissapointed of the entries in melfest, this is the onlyone that gives me a little bit of hope for Sweden. And for ESC there are only two songs that I like and that is Polands and Spains entries, Poland being my favorite. I had kinda big hopes for this years competion but so far im dissapointed, but there is still time for some good entries to come in.

Agree, but sweden has a tendency to vote for the songs with least integrity and artistry. Just the most overly polished crap. Best example of this was Lundvik - too late for love, and The mamas. Just overly polished feelgood with no artistic meaning.

The fact sweden has won so many times the last years have little to do with the nations taste, the general swedes taste is very shallow and wt, this is just a way bigger industry than in other countries. We just manage to chose the winning song here and there, even a broken clock is right two times per 24 hours x)

@@charliezetterberg789 I would say that the more dedicated side of the Eurovision fandom often follows along with at least a couple national finals that aren't their own. Melodifestivalen is probably one of the biggest ones, so it's the one most do follow.

International juries, listen up: You need to think stratigacally in your voting if you want Cornelia to win. You know Swedes will put Anders Bagge first in the televote therefore you need to put him as low at the bottom of your voting as possible because that's the only way for Cornelia to win. Even if you put Cornelia first, but Anders Bagge second or third, he will win.

She HAS to win. This song has everything that Sweden has been lacking the past few years. The rawness, the emotion, the lack of pretention...leaving her heart on the stage Cannot get enough of this. And it doesn't hurt that the official recorded version is also perfection (unlike the over-autotuned songs of past years)

Sweden, this should be your choice, it could be your new Euphoria or Heroes from my point of view. It brings authenticity, personality and class throughout these three minutes. I never had fallen in love with a swedish entry like this, since Statements by Loreen, and that song should also have won the Melodifestivalen in that year. Moreover, I think that you could get the european public into a song like this and I reckon that you should not lose this opportunity.

The lyric is just too relatable - it resonates hard within me as a gay man from a conservative country. It brought tears to my eyes and pain in my chest listening to it the first time (brings back memories - too many goodbyes over the years). This is one masterpiece. Great song and fantastic delivery by Cornelia. Best of luck in Melfest - and wish she could bring Eurovision trophy to Sweden!

The fact that happy is the only thing you people care about, his song is nothing special and is just a broad topic, it don't say much about anything so It feels empty and fake happy. Cornelias song is sad but it's pure art and high quality voice that no other in Melfest has had in years. Plus Cornelia is now standing on her own without her group and want to be heard and would be honored to represent Sweden. Anders would get hate from ESC fans and I don't want a sad Anders. I want him to be happy in Melfest and then just go home.
