My reviews are not influenced by any company or individual other then my own opinion. I will never review a game I was paid to check out however I do receive review copies of many games I review and always include in the description if I did receive it as a review copy. My scale is 0 - 10 for a game to get a 10 it must be a once in a generation style of game those that change gaming or have a major impact for years to come. I use the score of 5 to showcase a game that is average in everything that it does. It doesn't mean the game is bad its just usually one of those very forgettable games. In order for a game to get a 1 or 0 it has to be really truly awful filled with bugs and glitches, super short, way too overpriced, horrible controls, etc.

i give this game 8 on 10. its the best bowling game i have played. you can play tournaments and unlock balls and theres also multiplayer. the graphics are nice and the controls are easy. i would have loved to see a bit more animations. also would have been nice to be able to customize our outfit and our bowler appearance. i got the game in the ps store for about 7 bucks on sale. works fine with my ps5. if you like bowling , i strongly suggest give this game a shot.

Last (and maybe only) bowling game I played was a PS2 fighting game :) Also, I would've gone with "does this one end up getting a strike, or is it just total balls."

Haven’t played it yet. But the fact it’s a $20 pba game based on the free mobile version, and not a full $60 AAA game, it looks at least decent.

Don't you just hate it when games make you handle old balls against your will? This game could also benefit from Stephen Lynch playing the opening theme song. Seriously, though, this kinda reminds me of Championship Bowling on the NES, which I absolutely loved. However, it looks like they were overthinking things a bit with the realistic style here. I don't exactly play bowling games for the commentary and opponent cinematics.

finally a bowling game that you can play online? i need this, hopefully avaible in belgium.. still waiting for that running game where you attack colors with a easy platinum i have tekken bowling and that crazy strike? 1 i never played and the other i stopped with the same reason, can't play online so then they suck.

The price is great but if you're an avid or amateur bowler you're not going to like this game the graphics are poor compared to other games and the special bowling balls just ruins it for me as I am a purist. For a child and or teen I'm sure they would love it I think the devs missed a huge opportunity and it's an insult to the PBA name I'm on PS5 console and I didn't think it was one bit challenging

Having pro bowlers bowl 140 or 150 at any point is ridiculous. That kills me buying it right there. As for your mentioning of oil patterns you weren't too specific about it in terms of what that did to any tournament mode. Are you able to have oil patterns through each and every game of a tournament? Can you set it that way? Also got to say the leveling up crap is well just crap. That needs to go away from any bowling game coming out in the future. PBA should be ashamed for slapping their brand on this trash.

A shallow, glitchy, soulless game. No surprise, as it's made by FarSight, the biggest posers in the games industry.

For example, High Velocity Bowling, which launched on the PS3 for $10, is a fantastic game and it's leagues ahead of this pile of crap IN EVERY CATEGORY (graphics, physics, replayability, etc.), and is still the most enjoyable bowling game in recent history. Just look at how Zen studios recently remade some of the pinball tables that appeared in FarSight's Pinball Arcade... Zen's renditions are blatantly superior in every way. Zen did it better in a few months than FarSight did over the course of almost 10 years. Because FarSight are lazy and unscrupulous frauds, whereas Zen Studios has legitimate passion and talent.

@@kropking zen studios are a bunch of c#cks who bent their knee to outrage culture and censored classic pinball tables...not a dime for these spineless f#cks. despite zen pinball physics are watered down to make it accessible for the casual player ...f#ck them!

@@randydisher1153 What the hell are you talking about? FarSight censored Elvira's table first, and Zen's physics on the re-makes (not their originals) are actually quite realistic.

@@kropking farsight did not censor elvira, they used the family settings of the original table as default. thats still authentic. zen flatout censored artwork, thats inexcusable!
