Hey - a belated Happy New Year to one and all - and here's to a (hopefully) sparkling 2023! Apologies for the belated upload - we're trying to filter out a few of the more "boring" clips now, so there may well be fewer uploads (we're looking at one per season) but hopefully, there will be less mundane footage.
Anyway - back to the here and now - what better way to start a new year than a compilation of last season's bits and pieces from around the Cornish highways and byways?
So here we are - Autumn 2022 in all it's glory - including a quite strange example of road rage in Truro between a B*W and a Cornwall Chimney Services van...
Bet you didn't think you'd read that sentence today, did you?

Thanks Adam! Am trying to include fewer "boring" clips nowadays, as you do tend to see the same things happening again and again... It does mean the uploads may not be as frequent - but hopefully more engaging. 👍

@@cornwalldashcambits I understand. I'm from Penzance and although we get these people daily some of them aren't really youtube worthy. you'd defo get good clips here if ever visiting haha

I wonder why certain drivers of white vans and BMWs have a negative reputation? Could it be that they share a time management problem? Who knows? There are good drivers of both, but we don't notice them so much. That bit of road from the County Hall (surely it should now be the Unitary Authority Hall) up to Treliske seems to have more than its fair share of entitlement issues, too much traffic and not enough road space. Building even more houses up by the park and ride is not going to improve matters, either. At least the road rage in Cornwall tends to be on a more gentle level than in other parts of the country. I reckon I saw more bad driving on a round trip to the M25 the other day than I do in a year down here.

That was a real strange one outside "Cornwall Unitary Authority Hall" 😉and up to Treliske. It wasn't until I'd had a chance to review the footage afterwards that I had an idea of the full end to end occurrence, so didn't realise there may have been contact (though I'd have been VERY surprised if there hadn't). It was certainly the worst incident I've ever seen stemming from filtering at the roundabout there. And I agree - it's only going to get worse from now on, with the developments in the area - I've been tailgated many, many times coming down from Chiverton Cross to the Park and Ride after the 30mph restriction was imposed. Still - at least we're not in London, where, I gather from some of those based dashcam channels, the term "c***" is almost used as a term of endearment there...

Sorry, but the video quality is just awful; hard to read the script even; it's just potato quality. I think you might need to re-upload this.

Oh no - I'm so sorry it's not come through very well for you - I've tested it on a few different devices and it does seem to have uploaded okay - is it still not displaying correctly for you?

You're welcome! Glad it's sorted itself out now. I have seen that happen to other videos on KZfaq as well, I presume the uploading and processing takes longer for some videos than others...
