Cornwall Iron Furnace, a historic site located in Cornwall, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, operated from 1742-1883. The Cornwall mine was the largest iron mining operation in the eastern United States, until 1973. This video presents the story of the owners and workers at the furnace, the mine and a tour of the best-surviving charcoal fired iron furnace in the Western Hemisphere.
