The state became completely corrupt and authoritharian, so a couple of veteran roleplayers who understands RP better than most, Koil, Kebun, Mehdi etc. had to step in and change it, and they did it through RP. Now you get more balance of power. More transparency. Accountability for the powerful. I don´t know how anyone can think this is a bad change.

I feel like Cornwood has some major delusions of grandeur. He is barely respected by even his own officers, let alone the rest of the city. Not to mention OOC Esfand is not a consistent player anymore, I feel like those elected into power should be around more than once or twice a week, which I don’t see happening with Cornwood.

If the rumors are true with what Koil has been alluding too with the massive map overhaul, i think we are going to be seeing a whole new city with more fleshed out towns up north, with Cypress turf, vespucci and paleto/Sandy all becoming hubs.

Issue with two mayors is what does the 2nd mayor actually do? One of the biggest mechanics for the mayor are the sliders and 90% of those are city-specific. They can vote in laws but there's not even much reason for a majority of the laws to be different than in the city besides mundane stuff like speed limits and maybe open carry because the mechanics for most illegal stuff are also in the city.

My biggest problem with thinking about him running for mayor is that he, the streamer, seems to have no awareness for others on the server. Because if he did, he'd realize that since the start of 4.0, he's been given a bunch of power artificially. Like he was given council power, he was given power in the PD he never earned. Dudes been riding a power wave for months now. For literally no reason, just been one of the most OP characters in terms of power in the city. Maybe be considerate and think about new people getting into positions of governing power. You had your shot. You blew it.

Because Koil wants there to be 2 mayors for RP reasons. Have one for Los Santos and the other for, well not Los Santos. So maybe the mayor up north would allow civs to open carry for example, this is pretty true to real life in California you can't open carry in LA but if you live in the middle of no where California you can. Maybe businesses have an easier time up north with less restrictions to start up compared to LS. Maybe they have less taxes.
