Absolutely stunning place. That hotel lobby was just incredible. Being a carpenter I’m always amazed at how the victorians did such incredible work with the limited tools 👌♥️

We love Coronado Island, Robert and Gina. You really feel like you're out of the hustle and bustle located so close by. Lovely stroll though the neighborhoods and I didn't know the hotel was the inspiration for Emerald City. A few ghosts too! 🤣🤣But it's a beautiful historic hotel that we love. Shame about the polluted water though, with the lower standards in Mexico which is so close by. If I recall correctly I saw a video filmed literally right on the border and they mentioned the sewage there too. All the food you enjoyed looked delicious. I could almost taste the pasta. We're going to have that too today, but out of a Hamburger Helper box. 😞😞 The cheeseburger looked wonderful, but shame about the over cooking and lack of enough flavorful cheese. So many options! The Glorietta Bay Inn looked wonderful! Nice deal on such a beautiful place. We loved coming along!

It is such a relaxing retreat and not to far from us, I'm sure we'll be back there again especially as things heat up here in Vegas. Nothing wrong with box dinners, that's how we save money for these trips 😁😁 We hope your move is going well, love you guys!

Cheers friends, wow what a beautiful beach, so very sad that you can't get in the water! But walking on the beach looked o peaceful! So much to see and do. I love all the shops and restaurants, sorry you had to get a second plate of pasta since the first was so spicy! Wow you did get a great deal on that room!!!!

We hope you guys are having a relaxing time and some great dishes on your Alaskan cruise... we're so jealous! Even with the water contamination, we'd go back, the place is that beautiful and relaxing. luckily it didn't smell or anything. They noticed Gina wasn't really eating and she just mentioned it was too spicy for her. They were so nice about it a bringing a second plate. That's great service for you.

We love Coronado Island with its fabulous views and wonderful sandy beach. We enjoyed your tour and honest in-depth review. It's always fun to explore the historic Hotel Coronado. Your hotel in San Diego looked good value for money and was set in a great location. Loved seeing the beautiful neighborhoods and all the gorgeous flowers. I love the alfresco dining :) looks like a really relaxing place to grab a bite to eat or enjoy some shopping :) the beach looks gorgeous and i love all the places you can get a drink and enjoy the beach :) your food looks so tasty it made me really hungry! A really nice mix of foods along the way :) loved the skyline across the water xx

Coronado is something fun to do in the San Diego area. The hotel is so classic cool and nice to have some period decor pieces to remind of the age. Too bad about the water. Cheers👍

A very detailed walkthrough of the island. It's a beautiful place with lots to do, The food looks great other than the overcooked one. Glorietta Inn looks like a great deal! It was fun tagging along. You all have a great weekend ❤

We've never been, but it seems really nice. We do like California and have been all over, but we've never been to San Diego! Kind of weird now that I think about it. Great video, I enjoyed it in full, plus ads. Like 36, thanks for sharing!

Very cool 😎. I honestly didn’t know this place existed. I’ve only been to California once. In my mind, I was thinking about Coronado Springs resort at Disney World. Maybe because we’re staying there in August. But I definitely see how that looks more like the Grand Floridian. 👍

Neither did we until we got the deal from Travel Zoo. Glad we took it, it was such a relaxing weekend. We've had family stay at Coronado Springs at Disney, they really enjoyed it! We hope you guys have a great vacay in Aug!

I love Coronado...I was there many, many years ago...in fact my daughter graduated Law School from California Western over 20 years ago from Hotel Del Coronado...I do remember going just to spend the day on Coronado at the beach...I love your reviews, you give a very thorough review, food looks delicious...going through the neighborhoods and houses...The Wizard of Oz...Frank L Baum...so interesting! Love the hotel you stayed at and a great deal too...I may have to look into that...thanks for another great review~I'm still thinking of all the good food, I'm between breakfast and lunch ...haven't have breakfast yet...may have to make some pancakes...laughed at the pancake making machine...what will they think of next...were those pancakes cooked enough??

That must have been a beautiful graduation! It's good thing we got that deal otherwise it's out of our budget LoL. I'm sure w will be back sometime soon, it was such a relaxing getaway. The pancakes were actually cooked, they were on the smaller side and kind of thin. It was more of a novelty than anything, but the rest of the food was pretty good at breakfast. Go get yourself something to eat! 😁😁

Looks a lot more relaxed over the bridge from downtown. We have not been over as coming as we do from the UK determined to explore we tend to head for the scenic, historical and cultural highlights of places. It is interesting to see places like this though. The Hotel Coronado looks amazing. Sad though that the beach is prone to high levels of pollution. Look to be some good food options though. You show plenty to enjoy here.

Way more relaxed for sure, even just going to the ferry landing area was a bit of a tourist shock, everywhere else was so calm and relaxed. Hope you guys get to feeling better and back to traveling soon!
