EDITOR'S NOTE: Again British Movietonews triumphs in its policy of bold adventure. These sound pictures taken 5,200 miles away, are first screened on the same day as the appearance of the first newspaper photographs. The Movietone camera and the aeroplane have combined in the realisation of a revolutionary achievement. Sub.1. Ras Tafari greets the Duke of Gloucester at Addis Ababa Station. Sub.2. Indeed he was a very short man of 5 ft 4 inches. Of course Jesus deserves all praise and glory because he died for our sins. In Jesus's testimony of God, he says 'He has a name written upon His thigh and vesture, a name which only He knew King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Christians are called to judge with "righteousness'. There can't be 2 with the same titles 😢. The Creator Himself?...Psalms 87 says that a particular man dwells where God dwells (Zion) - the city of God!. From ancient times until now Ethiopia has remained uncolonized and divinely protected .

In 1974 a Soviet-backed military junta (the ‘Derg’) deposed Haile Selassie as Emperor, and he was kept under house arrest at the Imperial Palace. He died a year later while still under arrest. In 1992 his remains were discovered, buried under a toilet in the Palace, and transferred to the church of Ba’ata Mariam Geta.

In 1953 (approx) while on a state visit to Jamaica the emperor was approached by a well dressed journalist (Olivere). He asked , "His Majesty, when will you tell those rastas that you are not God?"..He replied "Olivere, why should I, (or who am Il) to deny their faith?". In essence, presumption can be very dangerous 😢😢😢

Qedamawi Haile Selassie 1 is "scientifically speaking" the only "true and living God". Jesus Christ gives clear and accurate descriptions/attributes of God (Rev 5; 19). In all spiritual reasonableness, based upon His ACTIONS, WORDS AND RESULTS this man satisfies everything that could be said of a righteous God. He cannot tell us that He is God; we are all expected to recognize our creator!

We all know that Almighty God, who is the HEAVENLY FATHER is a different Character from GOD the SON and GOD the MOTHER. The TRINITY is GOD the FATHER and GOD the MOTHER, and GOD the SON, their goal is the same but their duties are diferent. So when he said that he is not Jesus the Son he is right, because he is the FATHER. If someone ask u if u are the mother would u tell them no, because u know that u are not the mother but in fact the father. The bible says to seek the truth and u will fine. Read the bible and read secular books compare and contrast and u will find the truth, because the truth is consistent. Also the bible says that those who worship God must worship HIM in spirit and in true (flesh), because God is both spirit and flesh. Moses saw GOD face to Face, Abraham also did and so did Enoch. So God has a FACE. He created us in his IMAGE (looking human like him) and LIKENESS (acting human like him). But the only difference is that we are Carbon (6th element on the periodic table) copies of the Original God (which is why were are not powerful like him, which is why we fall short of his glory), created on the 6th day, according to the book of Genesis.

The statue is Miniik the 2nd, he was the predecessor of Hailesilasse, the statue still exists. By the way no one worships Hailesilasse in Ethiopia.

Do know that Rastafarians believe selassie is literally Jesus reincarnated, even though selassie himself denies and rebukes those claims? Selassie says to specifically worship jesus, and to look to Jesus for all answers to life. Jesus Christ (YESHUA HAMASHIACH ) is NOT a man or mortal being. He is GOD in the flesh that all the books in the Bible speak about. He is the only messiah and only Conquering lion of Judah! There is only one living GOD. Selassie is NOT “a”or “the” living GOD but a righteous brother in Jesus Christ. Selassie clearly denies being Jesus reincarnated.
