While I understand the hurt that Sarah is going through (finding out that Todd is gay, and all) I'm happy that she realised that Billy was Todd's son as well and let him and his family say their proper goodbyes.

Emma Stanley I think they allowed Nick to do it because he was the eldest of the three siblings and had a better hold on his emotions unlike his younger brother because David was only 13 at the time so obviously he wasn't emotionally stable to carry his baby nephews coffin.

He cheated on Sarah and became gay he decided to tell Sarah while she was pregnant which caused Sarah to go into early labour and she lost the baby. Sorry if it’s not explained very well I don’t know how to explain it
