Hard to believe that the British don't use paycheques during Pay Days, and still pay case with "Pay Packets". In other parts of the world, notably Canada, when employees are paid, they're either given a paycheque or its automatically deposited to your bank account.

Yes David should be paying board, but Gail had no right at all taking money from him, wether he owed her money or not it was definitely theft. If she was that but hurt over him not giving money then she should have said “you know what to do then, if you don’t pay your way then get out”
