The first few weeks i watched corrie I honestly thought Fred was gay lol. Watching these clips reminds me how funny corrie used to be. Even in a hostage situation it felt more like a comedy than a soap half the time 😆

Wednesday 11 October 2000 and Thursday 12 October 2000 Two episodes on the Wednesday. One episode on the Thursday. The siege took place in the 2nd Wednesday episode, it was shown at 10.00pm. The first Wednesday was just a normal episode, then at the end, it ended on a cliffhanger. The Thursday episode was the aftermath, Curly’s wife Emma(a police officer), shot dead one of the robbers, Dean Sykes, his name was, it was revealed he was Linda Baldwin’s brother, he died in hospital.
