This just happened close to our town, in Canada. The young boy killed himself because he couldn’t face the shame of his friends and family seeing pictures of him, especially his elderly grandparents. The blackmailers threatened to spread his picture through all social media. A foolish thing for a boy to do but death is the ultimate consequence. His poor parents are devastated. This is a highly organized criminal activity carried out by people half way round the world. Talk to your kids people. Let them know you’ll support them.

I believe everyone deserves a 2nd chance including max

No, Max doesn't deserve this, but... The other residents he's caused grief for didn't deserve any of that either. He needs a wake-up call in regards to how his behaviour has an impact on other people and this might be it. (But won't hold my breath!)
