Yes Max has ADHD. And he can control his anger issues. With medication. He was just doing all that for attention even though he had taken his medication. He wanted to be noticed for how hurt he was feeling about David. Max shouldn’t have reacted the way he did. He scared his sister by nearly attacking Nick with that bat. He’s basically like Dennis Rickman Jr from EastEnders.

Nick dont see wrong he has done. He is sumbag and he is one that devers be in jail or beaten up.

Would you call a child with no hair a freak of they had cancer? ADHD is an illness, and with judgments like that DO NOT help! Demi Craven after the initial shock, upset, anger and heartbreak that his father (I know David’s not his biological father but he’s raised him since he was about 4-5 years old and Max loves and classes David as his dad even after his real one showed up!) started a relationship with the mother of the kid who murdered his mother, Max bonded with Shona and like David loves, classes and accepted her as his second mother and she loves and classes Max and Lily as her own children. He’s even gone as far as helping, comfort and protect her when her actual son showed up again causing trouble and nearly killing her twice! While I understand Max being upset and angry with Nick for getting his father sent to jail, he did promise Shona at the start of this episode that he wouldn’t cause any trouble on Lily’s birthday no matter who show’s up for her birthday party. So he was out of order doing this and ruining his sister’s birthday. Not to mention that they was right he could have hurt someone else not meaning to with that cricket bat, especially his sister when he grabbed it off her and just started swinging it around to get at Nick. He’d already pushed baby Harry through a table and knocked him unconscious in a few episodes before this one just because he walked in the way of the television while he was playing a computer game. So his behaviour in this scene was out of order, especially as he knows Shona is struggling and finding it hard with his father in jail and he did promise his dad that he would look after Shona and Lily for him until he got home.

The clips on here even Corrie official channel said it’s was Max’s fault Harry got injured all because he wanted to play the bloody computer game! Try watching the actual scene again and paying attention to when Harry was injured!?🙄

He has ADHD and is supposed to take pills to control his emotions and hyperactivity but he secretly stopped taking them, that’s the reason for is bad behaviour and outbursts

Max blames Nick for David being in prison. Nick and David stole from Audrey, it was Nicks plan. They were released on bail but Gail interfered and they broke the conditions. During the sentencing, Nick was given a lighter sentence than David because he has no previous record. Nick got a slap on the wrist and sent home, while David went to prison. He is lashing out and possibly has stopped taking his medication for his ADHD- not sure if that was before or after this.
