The lad who plays Max is brilliant. Just reading all these comments on how much he is disliked. It’s called acting people. Jack P Shepherd (David) was just the same at that age. He was immensely talented as a kid, at making you believe he was David, and the lad playing Max is the same. The only thing that irritates me is how long writers drag storylines out, and do things that other soaps did ages ago.

Terrific acting for his age. Really is quite natural.

It's obvious that Blake who bullied Max is paying him back .. due to Griff standing up for Max. Fighting words have been around for a long time. Max didn't tell Blake to go out and kill. Griff definitely brainwashed Max.

I don't know how Max is going to come back from this. He might not have intended to hurt anyone, but it's obvious there's a lot of anger beneath the surface. He blames everyone else including David for how his life turned out not realizing that he actually caused most of his own problems. I know his mum died and he has ADHD, but that doesn't give him the right to treat other people like they don't matter

Max is irritating; I know the producer said they were going to give him a redemption arc so it's going to be interesting seeing him come back from this and how he slowly makes amends.

I wonder if Max has forgotten that the young man who stabbed his mother is a White guy who was born here.

I can't stand hearing Max speak. I don't know if the actor is doing it on purpuse or if this is actually how he speaks but every words drips of sarcasm,it sounds like he's forcing himself to sound soft by half wishpering and he always sounds like he's asking a question even when he isn't.
