Gails insistence her family sit down for the evening meal should be De Rigeur! Its the one meal of the day where all should come together And talk, it keeps a family dynamic in place to talk over the days events & should be where problems can be shared & sorted! My parents were both busy & in business but we all sat down together to eat in the evening & 9 times out of 10, we resolved any problems, misgivings & we compromised. It kept us ticking, kept us close & we respected each other. My mum & dad were born in the 1920s yet were fairly progressive & very understanding, never strict & allowed me my freedom & always supported me & as long as i could reason out & give explanations for whatever i wanted to do etc We did this over our main meal of the day. It may sound old fashioned but it somehow worked, we treat each other with respect & arguements Talked over & any resentment voiced & not left unsaid to fester. Our evening meals were more than consuming food. It was something special & it was the only thing my mum insisted on because she knew it kept us whole, functioning & happy This tradition has become outdated & lost now. Meals on trays infront of tv or in bedrooms separate people. There's no talk, no togethernesss. No communication Ive done the same with my own family & we talked out anything that needed resolution My family appreciated this evening get together. They rarely broke this way of family life & we had no family problems, break ups, child problems etc yet we were individuals & we kept it real. Fun, focus, future & good food is a great recipe for success. Cheers 🇬🇧👧

@@shylinh5939 When Gail was married to Brian in 1981 she went snivelling to her father-in-law Bert just because she only suspected he was carrying on with another woman. If a woman suspects her husband is cheating on him the woman should confront him herself and not get her father-in -law to do her dirty work for her. Because as a result of Gail only acting 40% of her age, Bert tore Brian off strips just because Gail was upset. Bert Tilsley could have tried to be fair and asked his son Brian for his side of the story. Some men do overdo it by being a gentleman. When some men are like Bert Tilsley they are worse than women themselves.

Emily Bishop is supposed to be a charitable and Christian person. Between 5:25:24 and 5:26:00 I reckon she was being far from charitable to Les. Emily is no better than a snob. It is beneath her to call some people by their first names. When Norris was staying at her house she was even less nice to him than Annie Walker was to Fred Gee. Sometimes Annie Walker was a snob, but at least she paid for it by being a bit unpopular.

Between 3:13:09 and 3:13:07 Ashley was more polite to Gary than Tina was to Norris about 9 and a half years later when Tina thought Norris was rude to Emily. Give Ashley his due he did not order Gary to say sorry to Emily. That Tina McKintyre was on of the bossiest little madam I ever known. If I had been present at the time I would have said to Tina. "What goes on between Emily and Norris is non of your business. I think that bullies like Tina should be taken down a peg or two. Being a woman should not justify bullying. Aliya was another one.

Between the points 5:48 and 5:55 I don't think Maxine is being fair. They have been many times that men have stuck up for a women who has been sexually harassed by a man and also there have been cases where a man has told another man off for hassling a female telling them to get on their bike or else. On Friday November 12th 1999 when I was at Bermondsey antique market, I had one or two men have a go at me for called a woman a cow even though the old biddie gave more than what I gave her back.

So i take it the vet didn't inform the owner of the greyhound and at the same time gave out the owner's address to Tyrone a complete stranger. What's the point of chipping the greyhound Tyrone could've run off with the dog and the owner would be none the wiser.

When I worked in the vets, if a dog was brought in or found, they checked it for a chip to notify the owner. If it had another owner than the one who brought it in, we held the dog until the owner confirmed exchange of ownership or of it was stolen or strayed.. The microchip needs to be updated too for the new owner.
