This video is filmed in Nanjing, by Japanese director Takeuchi Ryo. It offers a comprehensive look into Nanjing’s virus prevention measures. According to official statistics announced by Nanjing city, the number of people infected by coronavirus has gone from 93 to 0 as of 03/08/2020.
We are not trying to say that all countries around the world should do exactly what Nanjing did to keep the virus from spreading. We merely want to offer some reference to those who are in need, with the hope that this video could inspire you to come up with measures that are suitable to your country.

中国的某些网站提到这个视频，恰巧KZfaq也给我推荐这个视频就点进来看了（其实我通常是不看这类视频的）。我对你（我并不知道你所在地区）及许多这个视频留言的中国观众的建议是：嘿，坚强点、轻松点，没什么值得你难过的。至于充斥的中国仇恨者的言论，不是一贯都这样吗，这种西方（及其豢养的势力）黑中国的行为自从1949年甚至更早之前就开始了（远在你我出生之前），但是今天，who cares？用张维为的话说就是：“曾苦口婆心跟他解释中国，但是他一次两次三次不听，那就把他留在黑暗中吧”。中国的复兴正越来越近，军事上的硬实力在新中国的前30年基本摆脱了过去的孱弱（朝鲜战争和越南战争即是证明）；经济上的硬实力也在改革开放40年后能跟西方在全球竞争，且前途光明（一带一路在一步步的推进）。现在西方只剩一张嘴（近年来网络上愈加绝望的疯狂抹黑中国即是证明），但就是这张嘴，在硬实力的此长彼消大势中，也越来越不好糊弄其他非西方国家了（最近中国援助多国抗疫，而西方自顾不暇甚至拦截征用别国从中国获取的过境抗疫物资，让许多受援国看穿了西方的虚伪与无能），他们只好自我催眠的继续活在自己的幻觉中，毕竟装睡的人叫不醒。

我是海外华人，非常感激您以一个外国人的视角在中国南京拍摄的真实情况，在特朗普执政时代联合西方各国排斥和打压中国的局面下，不了解中国的世界各国对其憎恨和责怪，我作为中国人为国家深感委屈。很多人误用“洗脑”这个词（感觉有贬义的味道），但是在特定时期反复强调和提醒的方式不是洗脑而是教育。中国政府加强民众对社会责任感的教育是非常正确的。看到如此严格和仅仅有条的管理，确实令人感概。当然也要夸赞我们的人民，虽然有严格的"妈妈"，不过也要有听话的“好孩子们”配合啊。祝愿全世界都好起来。

In the United States, the general message was and has been that we do not need to wear masks because it doesn’t prevent infection. Not sure about that rationale. If we have to socially distance ourselves and stand 6 feet away from people, then why not wear masks? When we talk to one another, some people spit. Sneezes are uncontrolled and droplets are in the air. Americans could learn a lot from East Asians, but we’re too arrogant.

They said noi to wear masks because they knew they didnt have enough and because most are made in CHINA or the parts for them come China. Of course masks help. They knew there was going to be a shortage and they wanted to save them for themselves and health care workers.

They might have deliberately lied to the public. Because there's a shortage of masks. If everyone tries to hoard masks like they hoard toilet papers, everyone especially medics will very soon run out of masks and there will be a huge panic. Those experts definately know masks can prevent infection, if not, why those medics wear them?

It doesn't prevent infection, but it will help. Just think....you touch an infected surface and then accidently touch your mouth.... If you had the mask on there would be at least some protective barrier.

@@Clayform14 It's actually 21+ million phone users that have dropped off the face of the Earth and the explanation is that they changed companies to use for their services etc. However, no amount of excuses will stop the families of those missing people from speaking out when the time is right and the truth is eventually told to the rest of the world. The numbers and the information doesn't add up and it's getting more obvious that a huge coverup has been undertaken to ensure China isn't made to be seen as the bad one here

Xiao Tang 武漢及湖北地區是今次疫情的重災區，佔了全國確診者的75%（共6萬多人），國家當然一等一重視，否則不能從兩個月前每日數以千計的確診者，到這兩天只有單位數感染。放心，以全國現在上下一心抗疫的士氣，武漢距離零感染的日子一定不逺了。武漢及湖北的巿民～加油！ 💪

我是中国山东人，在国内呆了三个月经历了整个疫情期，去超市坐公交，都查体温登记等。一周前返回日本工作，到日本后，没有查体温的，没有人要你戴口罩，去密集的地方例如超市、地铁一切如往常自由行动。感觉完全没有疫情的样子，一切全靠自觉。从国内严格的防疫状态一下子切换到日本靠个人自觉的状态，觉得自己像没人管的孩子，挺没安全感的。感谢国内政府强有力的防疫措施，把国内每个人的防疫意识都调动起来全体团结抗疫，感谢那么多人付出。最后希望全球疫情快点好起来，大家都好好的。

I'm in Xiamen, Fujian (my second home for 9 years already!). I'm originally from Bulgaria. Also 0 cases for 2 weeks now, in the whole province! All 35 were cured in Xiamen. I also have to teach Uni classes online now. I hope the schools will open soon and I can meet my new students face to face. Everything else is slowly going back to normal. Thank you for the video, I've been to Nanjing ;). All people in the US, Europe etc. need to see it and take the situation seriously. Well done, China! ;)

This is amazing. The orderliness and the ability to track who has been in a car in case a passenger gets sick -streamlines tracking easily, and the cooperation of everyone .. It is amazing. The comment section on this video is showing how much tension is being created between Americans, Chinese, and everyone else. yes I can confirm this. my wife is Chinese and living in sichuan. everything is under control now. I'm very impressed with Chinese government. im Ukrainian American and live in Los Angeles Alhambra area.......where Asian Area starts.....people here in stores all started to wear masks and some Chinese restaurants started to test your temperature on January 25th .....yet in American Mexican Area i dont see many people wearing it and in some stores... people look at me like im infected........ ...........i went to Japan in 1998 and saw for the 1st time people in masks.........more so when i visited Honk Kong in 2001..........i was in awe......cause i thought wow these culture people soo thoughtful..........they want to protect others from......... sharing their colds or flues...and in the west......... IF I GET IT ALL MUST HAVE IT .... .now here...... in LA i wear a mask cause im scared and do think there is less chance if im around people ........Not all westerners........ though think you guys silly for wearing Masks....... and .......... look at what Russia did. .......they dont have the Technology like Chinese....... but Provide Free Mask at the shopping centers in Moscow Expensive Malls though could be different else where.......... and as of Yesterday........ OMG LOL.........if you infect someone you have to pay a fee and if someone dies cause you infect them its up to 5 years in Jail..........with such penalties........ lets see....... now how good they will go through this virus spreading..... PS Again China is exiting this battle with more grace.......also very very interesting to see the difference between Western and Asian mentality about wearing a mask.....Westerners.....ready to argue Mask does not help......... yet why all the Nurses in Their hospitals are wearing it?........... i dont get it........ why wear it if it doesn't protect you in anyway? so there is that Truth.......... we do have slight chances............. and its why all the Asian countries advertise it maybe?!

@@yongou1339 我在加拿大待了几年了我的房东已经移民二十多年了经常和我吐槽加国政府即使投票到了大选也没用因为少数必须服从多数他作为少数的人在和多数的人得票差得不是很多的时候但还是得听多数的这让他很不爽这个道理适用于全世界大多数国家不管投票与否。而一人一票我真心觉得不适合中国至少现在还不适合看看微博上的人随便煽风点火就可以带节奏人们还达不到以长远目光看一切当然这也可以理解每个人的需求是不同的。确实这次疫情也能看出很多问题我认为中央高层整体还是有脑子的但是地方政府的人员素质和智慧是真的参差不齐我觉得有必要调整基层人员到中层的工资水平招揽更多有智慧有能力的才干去当官（现在的官场蠢货太多了）这样中国才能更加的好起来很多现在出现的问题以后就不会再发生了。当然我也不是中央高层也不清楚他们在想什么有些方面确实有问题比如广电比如自由的评论我个人觉得其实政府应该更自信点。当然建立防火墙其实我觉得是有必要的这些西方平台反华媒体太多了没独立思考能力的人很容易被带节奏从而给国内带来不必要的麻烦。当然国内还得提高公众的监察体系制衡那些官僚主义。其实想想为什么要民主难道不是为了得到更好的发展和生活吗？那如果投票不能带来这种效果那只能说形式大于结果对于我个人来说我更关心结果当然很多过程也是有必要进行讨论确认的比如强拆之类的事我认为是可以做得更好的但是有些官要么是懒要么是蠢用比较粗暴的方式解决问题是不对的所以我一直非常支持依法治国全民要有法律意识进一步完善法律对各种权力加以监督和束缚把行政都规范化条理化合理化民众信服自然会得到支持。而西方世界政治正确我是真的受不了他们没法做正确的事情有时候过于死板。只能说每个国家的文化历史情况各有不同政治体制还是得适用于当地才是最好的。

看到南京这么严格的措施下都过了一个月才好（零新增），现在纽约窗外本地人还是不戴口罩聚众聊天..现在纽约几百个了还这样，不知道疫情还要持续多久，中国严厉的控制疫情措施我觉得值得欧美学习。这样能更快解决问题。

@@kingbo340 北美有几个有利条件。比如人口密度比较低、公共交通系统不发达（这居然也成优点了）、和已知疫区没有陆路交通、医疗费昂贵很难引起恐慌性就医造成的院内交叉感染等等。不过大城市仍然很危险。
