Very good review. Straight to the point, no mess no fuss. Subscribed. Have a Garmin Forerunner 55 at the moment. Coros still uses MIP displays which is great.

Thanks, glad you liked it. Yeah, it’s nice to have the option of a MIP display in this OLED world. I suspect that will change at some point.

Not being able to transfer playlists from Spotify like is supported even in the most basic Garmin watches is outrageous. The Apex 2 offers so little over the Pace 2 for nearly twice the price.

Yeah I agree it’s a big miss, but I guess the main focus is on the tracking features of the watch. Maybe other features will come in time. They are still a relatively new company don’t forget, especially compared to Garmin.

No ANT+, somewhat lower battery life, unusable pre-2010 mp3 music transfer from PC, and maps navigation (as opposed to breadcrumbs navigation) is what costs $150 more compared to Pace 2. If the Apex 2 supported streaming music and payments like comparably priced Garmin models do, it would be worth it.

I think comparing it to the Pace 2 just shows how good value that watch is. I always recommend that for value and a lot of people don’t care about music I’ve found.

Apex 2 pro hands down. Ive used both and the Coros has always given me the best comfort and data.
