Hi. 176 is your minimun of your super_thredhold. This test is like doing 30' of joe friels text. Your limit subthredhold is 167. (176x0.95) Your maximun in the subthredhod is 174(0.99x176). Now 176 is limit of superthredhold and the maximum in super thredhod id 176x1.02=177 From joe friels calculation. Me in a real 30'test mine is 174.. When i train tredhold i doit in 164-172. Almost always in between the minimun and the maximun of the subtredhold.

Could this be done on a track? If so...can you use the track setting on the Coros?

Yes! And you can even narrow it down to which lane you’re running in. Track setting is an option for the test. I’d say the track is actually the most optimal terrain for this kind of session.

@@HobbyJoggerElite Thanks for the reply! I did my first Fitness Test today at a track using the Apex 2 Pro, Footpod 2, and the Armband HR monitor. It went well - although when I was done with the 5k pace, I thought it would automatically send me into a cooldown - but apparently the test wasn't over - but I couldn't read the instructions because I was running...it took about 100 yards to realize that it wanted me to keep running fast. Despite that, I still "passed" and my predicted marathon time is right at what I'm aiming for (A PR) on April 28 in Eugene Oregon. I'm feeling a bit more confident knowing that I still have 7 weeks of training to build/prepare. Thanks again.
