If I ended the story it would go like this; As Emily heard this, she felt angered. It was all a lie, and she was the victim. Instead of trying to convince him he loved her, she took a walk. She needed to clear her head. She sat at in the woods, where Victor had proposed. After a while, Emily decided this wasn’t the end of her story, but it was Victor’s. She felt a cold rush storm through her as she thought about her revenge, for the heartache he brought to her. About an hour later, she heard Victor calling her name, “Emily! I’m sorry, please forgive me. I was wrong, I’ll still marry you.” Emily thought it was pathetic, he was crawling back like a dead dog. However, she stuck to her plan, “Yes” she agreed,” I’d still love to spend eternity together!” The same night, she went to voodoo witch, “I’d like to kill Victor, and put me in his place. How could I do that?” He stared back at her in disbelief,”you’ve come a long way Emily, but it would take two lives to restore your soul. Who else would you like to kill?” Emily thought for a moment. “I’d like to kill my ex-fiancé, Barkis Bittern please.” The witch looked around his cave. “Add a little this, a little of that!” [catchy song here] “thank you! I can’t wait to live my life.” She walks home and goes to bed. When she awakes, she feels a thump. Looking down, she realized it was her heart. And she was no longer cold. Something inside her still felt empty, she thought to herself, “I never felt more dead.” Going up to the human world, she heard screams, “Emily, what has happened to me? I feel funny. “ Victor was glowing green. “You died Victor. Good luck finding love in the underworld.” Without hesitation, “But haven’t I found my love?” Victor started to tear up, realizing she was warm. “How could you do this to me?” He pleaded. “Now I must be as miserable as you! Upset, he ran off. She felt miserable and exhausted climbing up to the world, and was only greeted by a sense of impending doom. She walked toward the town. In a crowd of people, was a girl, almost her age sobbing. “He never came home?” A lady asked. “No! I hadn’t been told a thing, Im positive he’s cheating on me with a dead woman.” The crowd got silent. “That is the most ridiculous statement I’ve ever heard. Come ladies, we’ll go to tea, I’m sure she’ll sort this out!” “Or go to an insane home!” They cackled. Emily knew this girl, this was Victor’s fiancé. “Hello, are you ok? I’m hear to talk.” Emily said. “I’ll be ok the girl replied, I think my fiancé left me. I’m going to the courthouse today to call off the wedding. Are you ok? You look a bit shaken yourself.” Emily’s eyes widened. She couldn’t remember the last time someone asked her about herself. “Yes, I’ll be fine, I just came from a living hell.” The girls laughed about it. “What’s you’re name?” The girl asked. “Emily” she continued, “I could almost swear I know you from somewhere. Do you go to the church down the road?” “Yes” said Emily. “And you are?” “Victoria Everglot” Emily felt butterflies in her stomach. This was a feeling she hadn’t had before. As the weeks went by, Emily and Victoria grew closer. Emily didn’t want to tell her, but couldn’t physically keep it any longer. “ I love you, like, really love you.” Victoria froze. “I….love you too Emily. I just didn’t know how to tell you” Soon, it was official, the church bells were ringing, petals were thrown, (And as a metaphor) the blue butterflies were released from a cage, fluttering off into the distance. The two girls watched the butterflies flying off as the thought about THEIR happily every after. (And yes, Emily is wearing her mothers wedding dress.)
