I guess he meant when he was a teen, like 14-16. It was really frustrating when my mom did this at that age. I never really decided to go to anyone's house until I trusted them completely. We made a work around for this, I can only go to their house if they come to mine first, which I was cool with

The dude in the first story was abused during his childhood for sure. If his was deprived of relationships and experiences, his parents were emotionally damaging him and making it difficult to form self esteem, confidence, and an ego. Not saying that's an excuse for him to be a creep, but dude definitely needed therapy.

Being babied/overprotected is harmful the same was abuse is. It makes a person so used to others doing things for them that they don’t learn how to depend on themself when they need to. The main character from Story #2 annoyed me. He's living in the middle of nowhere with no lights, no phone service, dangerous animals that have attacked people in the past, and the police (who can only be contacted by the ranger on the other side of the "I have to walk helpless and exposed in the dark" compound) are four hours away. Why doesn't he have a.) a gun, preferably a rifle, and b.) a satellite phone or shortwave radio capable of calling the police from his trailer? Some people are just asking to end up with their face on a milk carton.

Lozoya Kasan That's my whole point, though. In theory, less people means less risk of crime, but if something does happen (like the bear attack he mentioned earlier in the story, or someone running around trying to stab people) there's no help available. It doesn't even have to be something violent. What if he fell and broke his leg or got seriously ill when the ranger was away in town? Better in my opinion to be prepared for both immediate risks _and_ have a reliable way of contacting help.

Lozoya Kasan True; that's why I was thinking either a satellite phone or a shortwave radio [all police and ranger stations in the back country have CB, FM and shortwave radios that they monitor]. Even some GPS units allow you to send short text messages and emergency alerts.

Even when I’d have good grades she wouldn’t let me go out whether I was alone, with my older sisters or with my girl friends. I’d resented her and thought she was too controlling for the longest time until I finally understood why she’d been that way. Too many young girls have too much freedom and aren’t seen again. I guess I’m glad that she was a good mom bc there’s a lot of sickos out there

I'm all down for those kind of stories. My brother started out an emt, became a paramedic, and is now a firefighter. The craziest story he ever told me was keeping the body alive of a pregnant woman who's husband or boyfriend shot in the head, he did so to keep the baby alive til someone could "deliver" him/her. The head being blown open was a gruesome experience and he had to take some time off after.

the first one made me sad because he wasn't some evil creep he was just as you said a shy guy who was as he said sheltered and lonely who really wanted someone to love but didn't know how to go about it I can honestly sympathize with him I can imagine at one point in my life a few years ago I'd have done the same thing probably if I had a girl like him I really thought I loved. But you see it is not so simple I could write on for hours to you about this but life is not black and white as cliche as that sounds there's no clear line of good or bad it's just a bunch of people making the decisions they thought were best and the repercussions no one just just wakes up and decides they are going to become a vindictive creeper who stalks people. It is difficult to explain but it's not so simple as people want to make it where most people point at someone and say Oh their evil or a creepy bad person I can't do that I wish I could but hoe can you merely castsomeone aside as something as simple as "evil" without living their life and making every desiscion in the context they had too? there is no good or bad just desiscions and repercussions. I'm sorry I had to ramble on but if I didn't preach my thoughts to someone I'd sit here hours debating it in my head just remember that next time you want to cast someone aside as horrible or creepy or evil life is oh so to complicated to be defined in such terms

I’ve done something similar to the first story in the past, but luckily I didn’t have the police called on me. I have autism so I don’t usually realize when I’m coming on too strong, and I don’t realize when I’ve lost my chance. I’ve definitely really creeped some people out though. ever since I got on meds, I’ve been better at noticing when people don’t want to talk to me.

Corpse Husband, I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. I am a 63 year old female. Long time listener, first time commenting. You have the perfect voice for the stories you tell. My children think I am a little crazy because my husband works at night and that is when I listen to you and a couple others. Home alone. I have dogs and am armed so I don't worry. Although, I have a medium sized "rescue dog" & 2 killer chihuahuas. I have a lot of male friends, brothers, cousins, etc. I have always found it humorous to see big, strong men get scared for whatever reason. Just one, quick reference. I dated a guy years ago who was a big, strong guy. As we were heading upstairs to bed one night, we heard a mouse trap go off. At the time I lived by woods and fields, so on occasion a field mouse would get in. When the trap went off, he gave me a look of pure terror. I told him that being the big man that he was, he had to go down and dispose of it. He wouldn't go without me and by the sound of it, it had to be behind the sofa. So, together we pulled the sofa away from the wall. Sure enough, there was the sprung trap. It had flipped upside down before landing. When we looked, there was a tail sticking out from both sides. I did get him to pick it up and throw it away into the bag that I was now holding. He was terrified to turn it over to look and sure that it had to be demonic. He was about 6'4 and 200 pounds. The more he was shaking, the harder I laughed. Needless to say, he got mad because I was laughing so hard, and he left to go home to his own apartment. Over the years, I have had, on many occasions, been able to see grown men scared to death and it's funny to me to see that. I was raised that men are supposed to be the big, strong heroes when actually, a lot of the time, the women are the ones that are forced to take the bull by the horns. The last story about the guy that was freaking out over the woman at his window, made me laugh over and over again. Love your channel!! God bless you.

I feel for the dude I do but you don't do that shit man from her perspective he was a creepy stalker. that story was just sad to me you see things aren't black and white it's all fucking grey he was just lonely and really wanted someone and liked her but went about it the wrong way and she was not some evil bitch who utterly rejected him but it is just sad to me. I can understand both perspectives on one hand I can imagine being that lonely I might have done the same thing to a degree but then you can't hate her for doing what she did ? The saddest part is he was just lonely and wanted to have someone to love but now he will always be the creepy stalker she tells her friends about and he will always hate himself to some degree for what he did. Fuck life it's all blurred gray lines no right no wrong just decisions and repercussions

When you're that lonely like the guy was, and then a girl who seems perfect comes, the infatuation levels rise exponentially and makes you do dumb shit that you probably wouldn't do, and yes I felt sorry for the guy, he just wanted to get to know her, nothing wrong with that, but he came off too strong and then with that stalker behavior, no wonder that girl put a restraining order on him, at least he learned the lesson and moved on with his life.

He could of talked about himself, like he did in this story. I'm not a girl, but I think I'd even understand more why he is just awkward and not a stalker. I kind of wish someone could get this story to the girl he was talking about. Of course she probably will think it's all bullcrap, it just sucks, but hey, he's got a girlfriend now and has a pretty good life by the sounds of it.

Very nice additions with the sound effects. Like, the heartbeats. Oh, and a previous episode where you somewhat changed your voice for it to be more 'raspy', I believe it was. The reason why I bring up the voice thing is because the previous episodes have usually been just your normal voice with no changes to it for certain parts I feel. But, anyway, very good stuff as always. Keep up the great work.

if the first story was instead told from the point of view of the girl, it likely would’ve ended with her saying something along the lines of, ‘i don’t like to think of what might’ve happened if he’d caught up with me.’ im so glad we got the alternative version. it’s insightful and gives me a more sympathetic view of these creepers.
