It's so funny, there's at least one channel I watch that ends with "you can see me in my next video", which I assume is for that exact reason, because the traditional "we'll see you next time" bothers the presenter with its inaccuracy.

Is it correct to use the scientific name for the animal known as a sloth to refer to a character with the name Sloth?

@@mattswext2 I mean, maybe not, but what else would you use? I suppose you could just Latinize it the way modern spoken Latin does for names with no direct Latin relative. In that case, Slothum, but I don't prefer it.

@@danielgregory3295 I still live in New Zealand where I grew up. So just a standard Kiwi high school. Not sure Latin is still an option these days though, and there weren't a whole lot of us studying it even then. I think only four of us by the last year 🙄 Great jackal groundwork!

Re: Film tours in Astoria, OR. Yes. There are film tours. Though the current owners of the Goonie's house maintain a strict no solicitation policy. You can go there. You can view it from the street you can snap a picture or two, but DO NOT knock on the door and ask to check out the house. It's crazy rude and they will call the cops.

"paste" is actually a term for the texture and viscosity of a substance as well as the specific kind of adhesive that comes in paste form, so technically there ARE pastes you CAN eat - tomato paste being the most obvious example. just don't eat non-food pastes.

I cannot tell you how much Corrections warms my heart and tickles those twisted little parts of my brain. These weekly peeks into your psyche are a delight. I was sad for you when you mis-sci-fi'd Twiki because the Owen Wilson as Buck Rogers reboot pitched by you would probably have been amazing. Like, on par with the German chicken war story.

Popsicle Shtick, Ya Burnt, Daydrinking, Corrections...everything they do turns out amazing AND gets funnier with each edition! That's where you notice the difference between a show with a comedy writer genius at the desk and the rest: He never fails to deliver the joke and if he does he saves it like only he can. E.g. this entire speel ;)

Exactly! I can’t recall not liking any segment on this show. TSW, Hey!, Back In My Day, Diorama (anything Amber & Jenny do, really), and the segments featuring the show’s writers - I’m really digging all the Jeff Wright skits. I really miss fake trailers; wish they’d still make ‘em.

When I Googled "Don't do Sloth." I got "Noli pigritia facere." And then I translated that back to English and get "Don't be too lazy to do it." As a side note if you use a lowercase "s" in sloth, the retranslation is "don't be lazy." Also, "I am not a Jackal" translates in Latin to "I am not a dragon" ... in case you were wondering.

Correction: a lot of people are watching this video in their phones and do not need to move there cursor anywhere, because there isn't one. You could have just said click the pause button and we would have understood. Anyways, this is the best thing ever, and if Seth doesn't win an Emmy, the jackals know what to do. I love all of the small jokes that are more visual. Like the revoked nerd card on the back of the notes at the end. It's one series that I always take the time to watch and not just have on in the background.

And it turns out the Ivermectin in the paste tube is not evenly mixed in the tube because the contents of the entire tube is administered as a single dose for a horse. So a person trying to squeeze out a small portion won’t know what the potency is … could be zero or could be 100%.

Um actually: horse paste is an adhesive made from horse hooves it would be more accurate to call ivermectin horse medication rather than horse paste although don’t eat either

Well... it's definitely not "horse paste" (that's an adhesive, like you said), but it is a paste nonetheless. Ivermectin can be administered orally to horses, and the form factor _is_ indeed a paste. Think "toothpaste" more than "glue".

Ah so this is why they confiscated my needles at the airport. They are on to us. They made me remove my project sweater and hand over my wooden needles but let me keep my cheese grater? Absurdity! And yes, flying out of Amsterdam I absolutely bought a small wheel of Gouda and a cheese grater to eat it with at the airport. I won't apologize for my hedonistic love of cheese...and knitting.
