Look at the young Sniper. No wonder the alphabet soup boys wanted nothing to do with him. Left-handed, good footwork, and that power. That left hand could knock out an elephant.

Sanders predicted a knockout in 5. Du Plooy was basically finished as a fighter by this point. Du Plooy had some ability. He had a really good run for a while, but also his limitations were exposed against better fighters. No jab. Too wild. Mediocre chin. Conditioning was often a problem, and overrated punch. But still, he was entertaining to watch, and he had a lot of heart. Rest in peace to both men.

Sanders could punch and Du Plooy wasn't known for his movement and technique, especially moving back like that I'd imagine

@Lamont Wilson Sanders was a very under rated fighter. And he certainly could punch. I am South African and knew guys that sparred him. His biggest problem was that he never really loved the fight game. And spent more time on the golf course than in the boxing gym. He was undertrained for many of his fights. And as for your criticism for the klitchkos. For a guy who ran and another with a glass jaw they certainly ruled the division for long enough.

@@nicholaswoodward8191 Corrie Sanders was lacking in defensive skills, especially in the later stage of his career, attacking regardless of defense and taking strikes. As for speed and power, nothing to say, especially in the second phase of his career, where he often won by knockout.

blast rock Maybe to a degree, or compared to the truly elite....it's hard to judge fairly from a "Lazyboy recliner" or couch outside of the ring.
