I have a theory of why they smile. So technically, Pibby corrupts wants to find and hunt people meaning they want to be a part of them. I think they smile because they want to lure people to think they are happy, but people are smart enough to run away as they notice big changes to what their body looks like, supposedly like Caleb that has sharp arms dunno how to describe them. Blockman, mouth larger, ams bigger and really tough. If you think they can’t talk, they can, like how blockman did.

The pibby glitch was actually stronger than we think in this video, the pibby corruption can glitch through walls, when the corruption glitches, it takes the uncorrupted characters outside to make the glitch corrupt them even easier pibby glitch can stretch hand and legs, but im still wondering why does the pibby corruption force cartoon characters to smile? maybe it means it is a non complete drawn character that havent completely draw'd

when a character is corrupted, the glitch completely takes over the host’s body and forces it to smile and do what it wants to. The character that has been corrupted however, cannot control the body of themselves or talk, all the character can do is watch. This is not confirmed true, yet is to come

Some more info I have, is that one of the corrupted characters (or multiple), will try to infect others. and one corruption of the character starts, their pupils go to the back of their head, the corruption starts to form on their body, and they begin to smile or when smiling, their mouths can stretch. Another thing that can happen when corrupted is their arms or legs (or their torso which is rare) can stretch up to very long heights. (Basically the same as the mouth thing)

Here I know the lore on why the glitch even exists so. bun bun never wanted to stop playing so he made the glitch to connect everyone temporarily but it became permanent and bun bun was infected first then everyone else in the pibby world except the star pibby so she's fighting the glitch just like bf then the crossed paths and teamed up then bf got the infection yet hid it fighting the urge to let it take over eventually having a full on rap battle against them and won
